The two dragons stand before the path choices given to them. Each one taking a few minutes to decide which tunnel to take. Both dragons go back and forth between the entrances, observing all the clues as they think. Eventually, they both stop walking back and forth and look at one another. "[i]Have you decided your path?[/i]" The cloaked wildclaw male asked the armored female nocturne. Drak declared "[i]I am taking the [b]left[/b] path. I have always been a fighter, you know this. I love a challenge.[/i]” she said with a small beam. The male shook his head with a small sigh. "[i]Seems we will be parting ways, I am taking the [b]right[/b] path. I wish you the best of luck.[/i]” He told her before heading down his own tunnel. “[i]Same to you![/i]” Drak called out as she began her own path down the left tunnel.

Left One: You can only hear the sound of hissing and scales moving over stone.
Stepping back, you take a moment to decide on your new direction.
Answer Right One or Left One when deciding your path.

Anitsel let out a sigh of relief. At least there wasn't anything terrible here. She hurried her way through the tunnel, looking this way and that for any sign of Galen. He had to be here somewhere. Finally when she came to another fork she paused.
On one side she heard hissing, on the other the flapping of wings--or what she assumed must be. At the very least, it sounded like feathers. Brushing away her anxiety she took a deep breath and called out, "Galen? Are you there?" When only her echo answered she puffed up and headed into the room with hissing--to [b]left one.[/b]

Galen panted hard, shaking out his feathers. He detested how cold he was now. He thought he might have gotten used to it from his stint in the Southern Icefield, but there was just nothing like being cold and wet all at once. He shrugged and pushed onward, praying that the water hadn't disrupted anything in his prosthetic hind legs. He hadn't even considered them when taking the route. Perhaps that would have been intelligent.
He stopped dead in his tracks when he heard Anitsel's voice echo off the walls. In his excitement he sped forward blindly, not even remembering to respond to her. She did need to learn to be independent, but if such dangers lurked in this cave he didn't want her to face them alone. He barely even registered when the fork came, forging onward to [b]right two[/b] where he could only hope his love resided now.

Heyes shook himself off and took a moment to adjust his feathers, skewed by his frantic swimming. At least the thing didn't seem to be following him. At his shoulder, he heard the faint hissing rasp of Kid's laugh and turned his head to glare at the marbled jester.
"Don't know what you're finding so funny. You'd'a been eaten, too."
He couldn't [i]see[/i] her role her eyes, but he sensed the intent.
He shook his head as the ringing reached his ears.
"What the hell is that? C'n you hear that? Or am I still shook up?"
Kid nudged his shoulder with her nose.
"You, too, huh?"
He considered the right tunnel.
"Don't fancy another one of them. Probably a damn serthis."
