The A hasn't been found yet, so it could be going better. Qaspiel nods. "Well, it'll show up sooner or later. Something that big can't hide forever.
"What do I know? Not much. I haven't seen the A since before it was taken." He thinks for a little while. "The only strange thing I saw last night was [color=red]Illyana[/color], in the east wing sometime past midnight. She was trying to carry around a half-dead fir tree… I'm still not sure why. She wouldn't tell me and refused my help when I offered it."

"The night the A was stolen…" Sentimentality shakes his head thoughtfully. "I did spend most of my time in the music room. I was helping [color=blue]Mictlan[/color] with the music exchange… well, technically. He ran off halfway through the night to have a long talk with [color=red]Partition[/color], and I ended up waiting a long while for him to get back. He returned at about 3 and we got to work. I don't remember seeing or hearing anything unusual in the west wing at all that night.
"Before that, though…" Sen hesitates. "I was trying to compose a new piece before that. Something befitting of winter in the Southern Icefield… I went outside and took a long look at the sign for inspiration. It still said 'Crystalline Gala' right up until I left at 12:30.
"[color=red]Snowmobile[/color] was there too, but she looked to be sound asleep, so I didn't disturb her. I was worried she'd get cold just lying there, but I'm afraid I forgot all about her after I came in and started helping [color=blue]Mictlan[/color]."

When you ask her about the paint on her wings, Snowmobile's neck feathers rise. "W-w-what about it? It's normal, isn't it? Every dragon has paint on their wings at some point in life!"
Whether that's true or not, you're not buying it. Slowly, Snowmobile's feathers begin to droop.
"Okay, I admit it. I was outside painting the Gala sign. But not for very long! Only about an hour before I fell asleep! And that doesn't mean I stole the A or anything!"
You have to wonder what's so embarrassing about painting that she felt the need to hide it. Maybe she's really bad at it?
...In any case, you have another question for her.
"Huh? Of course I didn't wake up in the middle of the night! If I did, why would I go back to sleep out here?" Snowmobile's logic is as flawless as always. She shakes her head. "Unless I sleepwalked. Maybe I sleepwalked inside… and got a blanket… and went back out again… but I never saw any suspicious footprints, not even when Iku came and woke me up."
