So first off the bat I wanted to represent the china doll line, so I went with iridescent antique. The whole song is about being feminie but tough in a male-dominated industry, so I made her a female nocture (pretty but fierce) and gave her butterfly, something traditionally feminine, but darker with wine to show that she's more than just feminine. Finally obsidian spines, because she's got a bit of an edge and, as the song says, is ready to come out swinging!

"Lay down your weapons and follow into the light of the sun" So I tried to represent the transition from a desert into the night sky while also showing how the night fades into sunlight. I also thought of a person just wandering the desert at night, feeling really at peace towards the end of the song and wanted to show that. I chose a guardian to represent the soldier, because well, they're guardians.
"Brokenhearted soldier" A guardian who lost his charge? Perhaps in a desert???? Maybe he believes his charge is lost in the desert ("I came out the the desert to find what I've lost in your eyes")
"I filled my lungs with the sunset and walked out into the night" To show a guardian's determination
As I'm typing this I've made up this story about a guardian who believes his charge is lost in the desert (sandswept delta anyone) and keeps searching for it and praying he'll find it because it's his duty into he collapses from exhaustion and idk I guess eventually dies (trumpets calling him home- back to his deity?) So yeah sad ending

To be honest, I've never heard Troye Sivan before, but the song had a fun, flirty tone to it, so I decided to create a colorful Imperial to represent the beauty of young love (that was cheesy). I chose the Imp because there's also an earnest and yearning voice in the song for the beloved to recognize the singer, and the Imp is just serious enough. :)
