Maroon and lavender usually make for an especially odd combo, but the only reason I find this so pleasing is because he looks identical to one of my own Fae/s.

I don't think magenta works very well as a primary (it's better as a secondary or tert), but this cutie seems to flaunt it pretty well.

today on color combos that shouldn't work but do - seafoam and goldenrod! the goldenrod is just low toned enough that it enhances the seafoam, while the seafoam helps brighten the goldenrod! winwin!

Strangely enough I've never been hugely fond of XXX dragons, but this one's apparel keeps the blood color from being too overwhelming. I like her!

i usually don't like crackle, but her colours go really well together! and the little bits of pink in her apparel really complete the look.

I've seen a lot of primary-colored dragons that were just plain ugly. But the darker shades of blue and red work really well with the bright lemon circuit.

I hate goldenrod but he pulls it off and seraph looks surprisingly nice with speckle! It's weird how that birdskull kind of pulls his colors all together very nicely.
