I don't know if there's an easier way to tell what the most recent hatchling number is, but I find a young hatchling, then add numbers to its ID. Hatchling 7551485 is still pretty young, so I'll pick him. It has been a little while since he hatched, so I'm going to guess how many dragons have been born since then. 1000 maybe? I add 1000 to his ID # so it's now 7552485. I check to see if that dragon has been born. If it has, I see if adding 1000 again is going to work. If it doesn't I add 100. If that doesn't work I add 10. If that doesn't work I add 5. Etc etc etc.
Do you see what I'm saying?
