Not going to lie, I make the bulk of my money from exalting, but I also max the Fairgrounds whenever I can and will melt down Baldwin materials to sell! Melting cheap apparel or familiars (which cost around 4kt) often yield at least a 2 or 3kt profit, and usually will get you a lot more when there are new brewable items or things that show up for a limited time like festival stuff. I'd say if you have any spare familiars or apparel lying around that won't sell for more than 4kt, melt them, sell them, and feel the joy of treasure in your claws! Perfect for buying beautiful dragons and beautiful apparel to go with them. :D

As for how I get my apparel in general... I usually actually get most of it from familiar chests. XD However, some things I'll go out of my way to buy if I have a dragon that simply needs it. For example, that black cat on Envy's head. It was a necessity!
