Greens? Sure I have greens! For someone who professes not to be overly fond of green, I sure have a lot of them in my lair.
This is Azucena. Back in the days when I started, I bought myself a Fae girl who was shadow/leaf. Now, I loved her. She was adorable, but unfortunately I cannot bear the brownish tummy on shadow primary (well, except on one of my Snappers, but that's another story), so I sold her and decided I would start a search for a new Fae in obsidian/leaf. Eventually, I found her. These were the days of ridiculously expensive dragons, especially if the primary was obsidian. I think I snagged her for 60K and was over the moon about my purchase. In time I fell out of love with Faes, but luckily we knew Skydancers were coming, and I thought Azucena would have potential. And she did!
Pestilence is a new baby of mine. Two of my dragons popped her out of their single egg nest and I forgave them immediately after I saw her tertiary. Slapped gembond on her and stare at her lovingly every day.
A friend who knows my love for leaf alerted me to Slave here. He was on the AH at 100K, which was a darn good bargain at the time for a SG Imp. I think I may have thought about it for less than a minute. Okay, less than ten seconds. Bought him and gave him speckle because it just fit.
Shantak is my first Imp, and thus technically the most beloved. I gened him up from scratch and bought him from a very generous friend who sold him at a very low price compared to Imp prices those days.
Seranla used to be a Fae. I really don't know what came over me when I bought her. Seriously, jungle and mulberry? I don't know why I fell in love but I did. She was the first dragon I gened and the first I ever bought a breed scroll for. She's never going anywhere.
Demetrius was a gift from a friend. I am not a huge fan of obsidian clown, but he doesn't seem right with anything else.
I was originally searching for a blue Snapper male with obsidian wings to pair with another Snapper of mine, but quickly came to realise that I don't much like blue primaries. I stumbled across this chap on the AH cheap one day and bought him instantly. I gave him the iridescent, and he has given me nothing but amazing babies in return.
I have fallen out of love with male Ridgebacks. I was always a bit iffy about them anyway, but am currently actually going through a phase of outright dislike. BUT NOT TOWARDS PLAGUE. Because Plague is my original, most beloved and cutest pustule dragon. He was one of the first dragons to sway me to gembond, which I really disliked when I joined.
You're not seeing the green on this next pair? WELL YOU WILL. They will both get a lovely green gembond, Haava will become a Wildclaw and they will eternally produce wonderful red babies with green gembonds. And I will be happy FOREVER.
