I'm back, but life is being complicated. It probably will take awhile for me to reply, because I log on irratically.
Out of the ones he's tried on, I personally like the tiger.
I think he'd look nice in iridescent, if you wanted to go there. It brings out some reddish tones in Mulberry, though, so I'm not sure how well you'd like that.

Just don't go for speckle, I personally think it looks like a skin disease. I'd go for iridescent like Quaviver suggested, or as a 2nd option also tiger~

I hasn't considered iridescent. I could exchange some treasure for gems and get one. That might definitely be a better option. Thing with going with iridescent is the kids will all be between maize and mulberry which basically is all the blacks, grays and whites. I seem to remember iridescent doesn't look good on those. Most the kids will take after mom but those that take after him not sure about.

Of the three, I like tiger best. Iri can do some odd things to the whites and blacks, one black turns green, another purple, and one kind of bluish. So it all depends on which wing color they get as to whether it looks good or not.

They'll all have green wings between Jungle and Leaf. So, They'll look good with the green on at least.
