Hi! I'm here to ask for improvements to my current 2 pairs of my first line of van gogh themed dragons, based off of the painting the starry night. They're not all fully gened yet, but they are supposed to have Starmap/Current/Koi. The ideal color combination is Navy/Banana/Cornflower. I am also going to be renting Light/Water/Ice nests to breed them. 3/4 of them are first gen.

This combination was, in my opinion, the closest and prettiest i could get to a dragon of Van Gogh's starry night. I want to make a Van gogh themed hatchery after i get it off its feet and make lots of pairs based off of different paintings. Van gogh is one of my favorite artists ever!
I just want advice on how i can continue to improve these first pairs! I know nocturnes are not very popular dragons, i just really enjoy nocturnes but i am considering changing them to coatls. Would this be a good idea? What dragons would you like to see this design on? Or are there any color or gene improvements you can think of to make them look better/more similar to the famous Starry Night? Would any changes need to be made for you to buy them? What should the hatchlings be named?
I have never run a hatchery before, so i have had to try and get the funds for this all by myself! :) that's why it has been really slow (1 year in the works)
For reference, i already have ideas for other paintings, but these guys are only for Starry Night.
Any advice would be deeply appreciated!

jellyinspace AUGH they all look so nice.. I wish i could just have a million pairs for them. I think I'm definitely going to breed change them, these three options look really great. tysm!
Ive looked at these possibilities before but its a lot more helpful to have them all lined up next to each other

D0ctor and remeber since they are all modern breeds you can mix and match
them! i believe spirals and skydancers are the same rarity so you would get about half of each if both were the parents.

Jellyinspace oh i didnt even think of that! I really like coatls, so maybe i could have my first pair be coatl/coatl, and my second pair be skydancer/spiral? I have four dragons to use!

D0ctor that sounds great! i would love to know when your hatchery starts! and i would love to help come up with more scrys if you need it, seems like a fun challenge!

@D0ctor ok, first of all, you did a great job on both of these, here are just my opinions on them:
for Almond Blossom, as much as i love gaolers, blossom is just a really hard gene to get. i looked through all the genes and blossom is infact the best for this scry. not saying you shouldn't go for it but i would focus on the other scry first.
for that, i would recommend changing from trail to foam, i link the dark colors from tail is alittle distracting, and foam creates the same color.

now, Starry Night Over the Rhone. these scrys are great as they are. i onlt played with the breed, i think obelisk is the best since the curly mane makes me think of waves :>

Jellyinspace OMG Starry night over the rhone HAS to be obelisks! i had no idea what breed i was going to do, it looks so great on them!
As for almond blossom, Tysm! I will definitely make the first version then! at least, until i can get two blossom genes for goalers lol.

those are GORGEOUS dragon omg
My advice, as someone who also just started their hatchery: Get good graphics, and just a few curated pairs is better than too many pairs that are mid.
