God, I love the look of them! As soon as I figure out a name for my Wild Dog boy, I'm definitely registering him!

Adopted both Wild Dogs on AH while looking for Plentiful breed Malachite/Chrysocolla. XXX is impressive but lore more so.
I have them XXX white mates with a range of 10 or 12, lots of gray babies someday. Chose to have more variety of Malachite/Chrysocolla out there rather than find a XXX Coal with recessive genes. Didn’t want clones competing with yours.
But will register mine and any offspring that come out to breed standards! Gtg, will read more later

Yeah, double checked AH and couldn’t get XXX Coal mates even if I wanted to. Or even 1 away from Coal which would have 25% chance of Coal x Coal without a breed change. And my pairs with the white mates will have like 1 in 2,000 of coming out to breed standard rather than like 1 in 100. ^^’’’ Maybe someday I’ll have a Light and a Dark with proper mates.
But! In the meantime they have breed-encouraged familiars, and I’ll proudly keep the subspecies banner and link in bio even if I give it a layout.
And it turns out mine are already registered by being offspring of Gnash and Thrash. Thanks!
