This sub species is based on the book “The Velveteen Rabbit”; during which it is revealed that If you are truly loved, you become real, and once you are real, you can never be unreal. It lasts for always.
It is further revealed that it is generally the softer and more huggable entities that become real; those with pointy sharp bits or complex mechanisms are not likely to last long enough, as often by the time you are real you can be a bit on the shabby side.
This thread exists to celebrate and share the various Velveteen Dragons of Flight Rising.

Any Protection: Guard, Ward,

A delightfully non-violent Mage-Tank build can be found Here that is based on being a viable but protective party member.
A warning: playing this style will require considerable thought and attention - this is an effective build, but NOT a quickie fight one. It's also less expensive than some others which admittedly was what first appealed to me.
ONE note: I find that I prefer higher QCK than this build recommends; my preference is to use the Culex Guide and add 2 to each recommended QCK. So at level 10, I'd get my QCK to 27, not 25.

Hello! I saw your comment on a thread and was intrigued!
I have LavenderMint and she wants to be real too.
If she qualifies, I have to get some time and space to get her out of my hibden, so it may be awhile before she is ready, but I wanted to save this thread for then.
What a cute idea. :)

Wow LavenderMint is lovely! I hope to get a couple of my dragons leveled and equipped as well.

@Newtinmpls May I be added to the pinglist? This is such a wonderful idea. I breed a pair of stitched and patchwork dragons for Halloween. They are some of my favorite genes.
