[b]Makeshift Friends[/b] are an aberration subspecies built by some aberration artisans that emerged from the Wyrmwound and wanted to make their own ancient species more appealing to the rest of the Sornieth. With the help of some patches of fabric, lots of metal scraps, and some alchemy (thank you, Baldwin) they succeeded in doing so. They created the perfect [b]Makeshift Friends[/b] beloved by every dragon.

Just emerged from their hiding in the Wyrmwound and seeking for a new home, Aberrations scattered all over Sornieth. The many clans out there welcomed them warmly and provided them new homes, but the two headed newcomers couldn't ignore the discomforted expressions their gaze put on a lot their fellow modern dragons. And Aberrations was what they called them. They didn't know what it meant. It wasn't a name they chose for themselves. At least they many believed this was the case. Why would any other of their kin chose such a vile name for themselves, considering how perfect they were?
Were they so unsightly for the others? If so, how could they solve this? Maybe could they make themselves look more palatable?
One day an aberration put her gaze on a little hatchling cuddling a plush dragon that his mother made for him. Maybe this was the key? Maybe if they make look themselves look more lovable? More soft?
A certain group of artisans of the Aberrations tried. They covered themselves in soft furs and fabrics, stitched costumes, painted their bodies, but nothing satisfied their search for the ideal lovable body of a friend. They only covered what they were, they were hiding, again. But they wanted to embody what they craved.
Mother watched them. Mother wanted them to spread. And Mother wanted them to be beautiful.
One day one of the two headed artisans visited a so called alchemist. People said they even created a whole new breed of dragon. Were they a god? They had the perfect ingredients for the artisans. Ingredients that would make them perfect. Finally they could find love.
