Ugh … more mouths to feed. And looking at these tiny, little chirping hatchlings, would he really sacrifice them to Aquaris? The answer is no. Of course he wouldn’t. The little Skydancer looks up at him with almost pleading eyes. He can imagine her, bloodstained and filthy, ringing screams echoing in her ears. But, he doesn’t want this to be her. It’s enough that he has a sister twisted in this matter. He won’t have it happen to his daughter. And his other daughter, with solemn goat eyes; could he really leave her there to wield a knife against innocent dragons, these big morphed eyes emotionless and apathetic? He couldn’t do that. He couldn’t let his son, with dark eyes and dark patterns, who hasn’t made a single sound, grow up to become a silent killer, those dark eyes hiding no pity. Wrath breathes out, looking at his children in sadness. He will not give them up to Aquaris, even if he won’t resist his father; he will not be the one to willingly hand his children over.
