The perfect G1 on the Auction House?
Do you have an idea of what you look for when you do? Do you go for cheap G1s that have no sense or reason to their colours, or do you look to the more expensive side where the doubles and unusually matchy dergs dwell?
Whats your favorite G1 you found (and maybe purchased!) on the AH?
I personally don't usually buy G1s from the AH - I go through the dragon sales forums - but I did find this lad by sorting G1s by element:

I just really wanted to make an arcane primal G1 (as can be seen from the first scry, which I did NOT end up going for) and I was shocked to see this guy selling for very cheap (around ~100g) for what I find to be incredibly nice colours!

most my g1s i buy from the auction house, though occasionally i venture through the dragon sales forum too. a few times however, i was looking for dragons of specific color schemes in dragon search for scries i had in mind, messaged the owners, and bought them directly from there – the dragons just also happened to be g1s
usually when im browsing the ah for g1s, i narrow down the results by selecting for colors that i know look good with inexpensive genes.
the most expensive g1 ive ever bought was 100kt, but most my dragons tend to be less than 50g/kt. the cheapest i bought was limina, for 10kt – i found them through dragon search and saved them from being scattered

my fav auction house g1 right now is probably yakult here, though that might be just bc theyre the newest so novelty factor and all. theyre currently ungened, but heres my plan for them (links to their actual page)

mynnthia oooh they're both gorgeous! You have a good eye for pretty dergs; I'm glad you saved Liminal from being scattered, her colours are amazing :>
And yes, dragon search is absolutely one of the best tools for finding something specific, that's how I found the vast majority of my copper/tarnish G1s x>

I'm waiting to hear back from a seller of a G1 from a mass hatch (its a real pretty dragon), but i found my current project on the ah! She was only 10G, for one off xxy! I assume it's because her tert sucks at first glance but I've found a really lovely scry
