What it is known is that Hourglasses have been around for as long as any old dragon can remember. They are very connected to the earth as an element, specially the sand and they can controll it to their will, cause sandstorms and even use it to travel across areas without the need to fly. Actually most of them preffer to do so. Besides their sand magic they are blessed by a long (very long) lifespan and some of the most ancient Hourglasses Dragons have visions of the past, present or future, that randomly comes to them. Not necessarily connected to someone they know, they can and will dream about random events (important or not). That is both a blessing and a curse in some dragons' eyes. Now most of them are living in small familiar groups around Dragonhome. The only known organized Hourglass society now follows an ancient Hourglass named [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/22544364]Tempo[/url] who sometimes falls into hibernation due to his very old age and the need to dream about different timelines and events. Waking up only to guide his people to a new path and then falling into another centuries long slumber. Dragons after a certain age will perform a ritual to lock their visions in order to live a "normal" life, if too many dragons see different things their society would fall into chaos again, so only a handful of them can become seers. Hourglasses that do not wish to have their visions locked will leave their people and go to other clans. [center][font=cambria][size=7]Behavior:[/size][/center] Hourglasses dragons are neutral by nature, they will follow those they feel that are fit to rule based on their own terms and morals. Hourglasses are very instinctive beings and may form opinions or make important decisions based on their guts alone, specially at younger ages.
