this absolutely dumb project was inspired by a color combination given to me in the [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/forums/forga/1255656]terrible color dragon challenge[/url] thread in [b]april 2020[/b].
i figured seeing this all spread out would be cathartic in some way, and probably amusing because this weird, but pretty, combo is not an easy one to come by, but it also resulted in my [b]very first[/b] (and only, lol) primal hatch!
unfortunately, that primal has colors nowhere near the project ones i want, but he's still very pretty once i gene him.

The point of this pair was to get a dragon closer than Hickory to breed with, and I actually got a good dragon on my first nest with them.[/font]

I bought her and changed her into a pearlcatcher so I'd have a chance at a pearlcatcher baby. This pair has a [i]whopping[/i] [b]0.80645161%[/b] of hatching a dragon with sanddollar / fuschia / caramel colors. I looked around for a very long time for a mate to make these odds better, but the person who posted in this forum actually found an awesome boy for my unlucky rng girl immediately! So, after one last nest, these guys retired.

THE BEGINNING
There was a 0% chance of getting the dragon I wanted from this pair. I found Hickory, who was "close enough" as a starter, and then Peony was literally the only dragon who would get a sanddollar / pink / brown range on the AH at that time. The point of this pair was to get a dragon closer than Hickory to breed with, and I actually got a good dragon on my first nest with them.

THE SECOND PAIR
I planned on breeding these two more than I did. They had a 0.11363636% chance of breeding a sanddollar / fuschia / caramel dragon. Admittedly, their tertiary range was rough, but Malock was the female dragon that I found on the AH that would give the best range. (I looked for a few days.) However, on their first nest, I got a sanddollar boy who I decided to keep since his colors were better than Rhab's, so I took to the forums and actually found a mate that would give a better chance at my dragon and retired this pair after their first nest.

I found this kid using Dragon Search. He's in a tab marked Exalt Cannon, so you could probably approach the owner about buying him. You'd have to buy genes/breed change probably, but he'd help get the right colors.

Good luck! I feel your pain. I wanted to breed a fandragon, but that meant the parents had to look a specific way with a specific set of colors - the tertiary spread is literally half the color wheel.
I thought, no problem, they'll breed a kid eventually, right?
65 kids later? NOPE.
And I can't trade out one or the other pair because their colors make absolute sense because of the parentage.

lord that sounds like A PROJECT. i wish you the best of the luck! i tried to do the same with a triple wine coatl, and make the parents only have
two offspring to line up with lore and... i gave up on that one REAL fast and just got a triple wine coatl LOL

Zlovisna & Mambo are my new pair. As you can see, they have a whopping 4% chance of a baby with the colors. This is way better! They're currently on a nest with two babies. Fingers crossed!
Also, Rhlock and Ashewa are for sale, as well as their last two babies. Ashewa is a G1, but she does have a lot of babies from... well, all from this project. I plan on turning her back into a banescale and geneing her. Rhlock may go to Plaguemomma if no one wants him.
