Dragons are organized into categories based on priority of primary gene, then secondary gene, then tertiary gene.[/font][/i][/center] This is a journal of my breeding projects/goals for my hatchery! Eventually I want to create an actual association with finalized breed standards. Note: Unless it's relevant to a design, tertiary genes will be left as basic. The beige wings represent the light-tan color of the rattle. The blue tinge caught me by surprise but I like it since some of the pictures of the real snakes also have a little blue snuck in. The ideal color range for the skink gene is one that gives off the blue tint for the tail. Majalis doesn't have the best colors for the rest of the species but Midnigt gives a great blue tail effect. My best current example is Luna. The best species fit for her is a more-blue collared lizard. I chose to model them with Imperials at random. They do have some cat-like features which make them a good fit. I also think mirrors and obelisks are acceptable for cat species. The colors are [b]Sand/Sand/Terracotta[/b]. Though the combination of genes as well as colors go well with any of the modern species so it will be hard to make a final choice. [b]Tapir/Striation/Runes, Abyss/Abyss/Azure[/b] While not strictly a natural color combination, I have always found the black tapir fur to have a slight iridescence to it so I find the Azure adds that personal depth for me. I chose Fae because the wings resemble the spines of the actual species well. This isn't the final breed designation by any means. The only difference between this one and the genes above is Noxtide instead of Striation. I like the way Noxtide looks. Below is a matching fae.
