Hastur is amazing with his gnarlhorns because they compliment his accent so well, helping to give the corrupted, eerie feeling I love about him.

Wintercoat is great because who can say no to more floof? I love wintercoat on females specifically, I like to imagine them as big, protective mamas with their hatchlings tucked up warm in their fur. Blue is one such of those big ol' mamas.

And a shout out to weathered. Its not the fanciest, but its so easy to work with and goes well with phantom and spirit. Outlander isn't my most vibrant dragon, but he's still one of my favorites for just being slick and cool.

Oddly enough, thylacine is one of my favorites on Gaolers by sheer virtue of how much color you can work into the mane with it - my girl Odessa looks like a jawbreaker!

It's such a unique tertiary and gives the already beautiful veilspun a much more scraggly and bramble-like quality. So its no wonder that as soon as I saw Kallikrates with his thorn-tert beauty I had to get him ^^

I don't have a name for her yet, but I'm a huge sucker for Diaphanous. edit: forgot to put why, but it's because Diaphanous kinda makes them seem soft to me, and I rlly like soft looking dragons like cream or pearl.

I also rlly like opal on gaolers, especially if it's with crystal, facet, or both. The yellowish parts in crystal lowkey match w Merci's opal, and I rlly like how there's like the two parts of opal that's on their mane
