Lair Tabs/types of dragons to avoid: Sale in my Lair, G1 in my hibden, the last 2 pages of Etc in my hibden, any completely undressed/skinned Modern dragon. Feel free to review fandragons even if you have no idea what they're from since I put a lot of work into them, but honestly no pressure if you don't feel comfortable doing that - I will say the Sunless dragons are less direct fandergs though and I put a lot of effort into them so I'd love anything you have to say abt them whether you're familiar with that universe or not!
Other Comments: I don't mind some gentle concrete either but mostly looking for that sweet sweet ego boost

Of course I’ll review fandragons! However, you are correct in assuming that I have no prior knowledge with this fandom, so if I neglect to mention important details I apologize if I miss any important details! How I review fandragons is that I first talk about how they look as their own dragon, and then I talk about them in a fandom context to the best of my ability. Your username is really cool too, I wonder if it is a reference to anything? (Also hey fellow DR fan! My fandragons in the den say hi.)
I am really picky about my taste in Gaolers, and this lad is part of the one percent I would allow in my lair! To start, I like how the eye matches the tertiary. The little splotches on the wings really add to his charms. Another thing I like is that he is a nice combination between the aesthetics of the Nature and Plague flights, that isn’t too common but I love to see it! Usually I am not a fan of Weathered, but I think that it is the best possible start in this scenario. It contrasts with the forest well. I am shocked that I am the first person to like this fellow. Another thing, you’ve matched a fest skin with a non-plague rep. It is always impressive when people do that, like I never would have had the brain cells to think to put that on him!
I’ve never seen Fandragons based off video game locations before, but now I’ve reviewed 2 lairs with them! Makes me kind of tempted to get some PMD fandragons myself. I feel like he matches the vibes of the picture in the bio really well, and linking the wiki is a nice touch. Judging by just the picture, you would think that going with Spruce would be the obvious choice but forest suits it so much better. Both the picture and the dragon emit the same comforting vibes. It looks like a cross between a Ghibli Movie and a Noir crime film in vibes, and that is the highest possible compliment I can give. Whither is an honorary pick, but since most of the first paragraph applies to both of them, I’ll pick another.
So, I am picking a Gaoler and a Snapper in the same lair review? Your powers of persuasion of getting me to like things I don’t usually like are unparalleled. Snapper + Marva eyes is as classic of a combination as Cereal and Milk. It also distracts 99% of lookers from the water eyes, clever! This is the exact face I make when somebody invades my personal space, I relate to this on a spiritual level. The layering of the nightshroud and the Cuirass is very creative, I do not think I have seen it before. This is a great flameforger’s skin, and it fits (what I assume is) a Dwarf character very well. You’ve matched this skin with Fire Notoxide, a quality secondary choice. I also appreciate your usage of Gembond, I fear that the primary and secondary might clash too much without it. The gene needs more love.
You said I am allowed minor nitpicking privileges, and I now use them. The staff he is wearing is not the best one for the job. The Witches staff matches the rest of his outfit the best, while the Magician’s staff matches the picture the closest on my monitor.
Now onto the Fandom aspect of this compliment, I am shocked to find out he is a human being now that I have the wiki open. The wiki states that he is “an incredibly ugly man’ which makes your choice of Snapper go from Refreshing to Iconic. That is literally so clever and if I picked another fandragon I never would have noticed. :0
Is this a brown range? I didn’t choose to pick everything vaguely brown and green, I woke up in a cornfield with my marching orders and life philosophy carved into my arm. However, if this makes sense, even if Brown ranges were not 90% of my lair, I would pick her anyways. She is one of the prettiest brown ranges I have seen today. I’d like to start with a moment of appreciation for our lovely ranger hat here. It works on anything vaguely green, and it always looks great. And in addition to having the sense to use this lovely hat, you’ve chosen to layer it with some matchy lace. Despite being a smaller detail, the lace ties this whole outfit together. I know that if you didn’t choose to put some lace on there, the skin would clash, and the whole outfit wouldn’t look busy enough. And you’ve used a woodwing. This is the third thing in the camp of “I usually hate it but you’ve made it work” . It pairs well with Swamp, one of the most calming and beautiful colors on the color wheel. In addition, you’ve chosen a relatively simple skin here, but it is a skin that goes super well with the primal. I can visualize your thought process when dressing her, and trust me that is a compliment. One last thing I like is the decision that you chose to cover up some of the primal with the compelling hat. Most users try not to cover primals, and I think this was absolutely the right choice. This is what brought her up from a 9.5 to a 10.
I can only think of one way to make her any better and that is by slapping a pair of antlers on her. Antlers make everything better. You cannot change my mind.
Are these pokemon references? Either way, he slaps. Hard. The moment a matchy steel wasp comes onto the AH, I will buy it. The gene gives off such Lightning flight vibes (Mechamaru fandragon gene? Note to self.) more people need to be talking about it. He would look super cool with Dark Sclera psst. I do hope you do not mind a quick outfit idea, I just couldn’t help myself.

So, as DR TRASH, I was morally obligated to pick one.
Going to be objective on the dragon herself here, as is my policy. I don’t like this policy very much because it requires me not to scream about her for 5 seconds. First off, I have never seen someone use a kilt in that fashion. Violently takes notes. I love how all Faes weight Kelpie Manes look like they are in a shampoo commercial, and she is no exception. The fins peek out and it's so cuteeee.
Now onto the good stuff. THE VALENTINE'S DAY APPAREL LOOK LIKE THREAD. THE MIRROR IS NAMED JUNKO. SWIRL EYES. OH MY GOD. !!!!!!!!
