I'm mostly inactive nowadays but a thing I started to do a few years ago was trace direct line descendents of one of my oldest dragons. Chromia was the first dragon I received as a gift from another player, the same day I joined. She's only about a month older than my progens. Don't ask me why I started. I knew as one of the four most common species, she'd have a lot.
There is alot.
I think by the time I'm done there will be thousands. The thing is though, is that this is truly time consuming, all consuming. I stop in the middle and drop it for a while before coming back and doing a few more before I have to stop and take another long break.
I know it would be easier if I gave myself a generation limit. But that bothered me so I said you know what? Even if end up never finishing this, it's still an excuse for me to log back into this space again and continue.
Doing this has brought me back to FR time and again and I kinda want to share the fun. :)

- Just direct lines related to Chromia
- Exalted are not recorded unless they have 'active' descendents

When I started this, I actually kept track of the Dragons names AND ID#s and discovered this was a mistake because as active dragons changed lairs, there was always the possibilty names would change.
When I started this, I used an actual free family tree website instead of an excel sheet or document. I can't code worth anything and I never could figure out how to edit documents to make them look legit and pretty and well organized.
If you want a link to THAT MESS lemme know, lmao. I stopped updating the Tree when I started this thread because this was easier to keep track of and see.
In case you're wondering, at last count, Chromia's descendents go 19 generations deep. Give me strength, lmao.
Updates. Will. Be. Slow.
Feel free to comment any time after the 20th post is saved! Encouragement would be great and I'll answer any questions for the curious. Maybe one day you'll find your dragons listed here. :3
