[b]Story time:[/b] I've spent the past [i]forever[/i] passively looking for a dark-range/moon/green-range G1 to love forever and ever. Over the past two weeks, I needed something Nice™ in my life so I got a little more aggressive in my search and started looking outside of the AH (especially after a G1 that was close but not close enough got bought, but I was still sad he got bought).

Wow they're so pretty and spooky I love them ;-; I have a similar looking dragon but its definitely not gen1, these guys are gorgeous, the apparel looks so good. Congrats on getting your dream dragons~

I got extremely lucky. I've wanted a Cornflower/Buttercup dragon, but I kind of wanted a G1, so I never thought I could get one. I hatched an egg I got in the coli for my anniversary/birthday and BOOM Cornflower/buttercup with a not horrific tert of rose. I'm so ecstatic, she's so pretty!

There was a gen 1 i wanted so very badly that was a double denim like this boy. And it was me and this other user fighting for it, my highest I was able to go to was 16,000g and I thought for sure I had him in my grasp..But sadly that user was able to bump it up to 17, which made me sad but I knew he was going to a loving home. The user giving away that dragon message me a little later and told me that their friend was having to get rid of their own gen1 double denim! I went to take a look at him, and he already had starcon on him. It was a had to, and I scooped him up for only 10kg 0-0. Trading one of my UMA's for the skin he has now, can never be happier.

As it turns out, the colours hunter, grey and buttercup all have the same accent colour, which also matches Haze's lightning element eyes. I got her gened and gave her a matching skin and apparel and now treasure her :)

i bred this guy myself! the specific colour combo is pretty rare, however i managed to get my hands on one with the perfect colours off the auction house. none of the genes were correct, though, and the breed was not correct either. i could afford all the genes but one, the primary wasp. so i did a dragon search, and contacted a couple other users, and i was lucky enough that someone responded and sold me their dragon with the same colours, but the right primary. i sent them off to a plague nest to breed, but there was only one egg. 5 days of anxious waiting later, i got the perfect hatchie! i've yet to apply the genes or breed change, which are noxtide and thylacine, and ridgeback.

With the help of some super kind people I managed to find suitable parents and bred her, and I spent a whole lot of money on her. I changed her breed AND all her genes, and though I was worried about using two gem genes on a non-G1 dragon, a lot of people were super kind and were like "do it! If it makes you happy, then there's nothing wrong with it!" and so here she is!
