About the only beastclans to be found in or near the Lightning Farm are serthis, though my clan has encountered a few particularly bold harpies who dare the stormy skies. And the serthis, being, well, serthis, are not overly diplomatic as a rule; however, there is one member of my clan who has something of a relationship with them. Ey buys, sells, and trades alchemical components and products with them, and it is this business relationship that opened the path between the tribes and the clan for other negotiations. In fact, of all the clan, Kye is the most fluent in the serthis language. Through em, the clan has sold or given some weather- and lightning-proof gear to make it possible for the tribes to expand their territories further into the Lightning Farm than they could have on their own. Though some dragons might not find serthis the most amenable neighbors, Kye has not been shy to point out that a serthis tribe that is your ally is a quite effective deterrent to other beastclans with malicious intentions. The serthis might not, as a whole, have much affection for dragons as a whole, but the steady trade of goods is valuable enough to both parties to foster civil relations.

Being half beast clan, she's capable of understanding beast clans more than the average dragon, Dire was and is a very sociable dragon, and often snuck out at night to talk with other beast clans that lived around the Kingdom. After Mordok found out about what she was doing, he decided to make her the Beast Clan Ambassador of the Kingdom. After gaining the kings, and the townsfolk respect, he decided to offer to be an ambassador. And, well, luckily he's now got the job![/center]

My clan, out on a hunting run in Arcane territory, were the first dragons he'd ever stumbled across, and he quickly became fascinated and demanded to learn their ways too. Technically, he's more of an exchange student than an ambassador, but his uncle Seilbh is officially the latter, partly to protect him from the dragons and partly to protect the dragons from the Shade within him. Tengus are cool.

They raised and trained her to protect their male descendants. She eventually left with one of her infertile brothers but she still has contact to her adoptive family. She loves her brother with all her heart and won't let anyone do any harm to him. [/center]

One of the first was a herd of centaurs where she met one of her oldest friends, Thaleia, the ambassador of the herd. Thaleia made a choice to continue staying with Duskhollow even when it traveled away from her home, having been inspired by Roksana's kindness and the respect she showed to Beastclans. After befriending a maren by the name of Ikaika, she has taken it upon herself to be Duskhollow's ambassador to the marenfolk of the Sea of a Thousand Currents on top of her other duties as an envoy to various other dragon clans. In their midst, she was raised as an assassin for them by I'tidal, who later had a change of heart and helped them both escape. When they took refuge in Duskhollow, Vesper's knowledge of the Beastclans (particularly the Serthis) made her an unwitting candidate to act as a pseudo ambassador to that faction, though her sister, Eventide's, presence is required to keep everyone civil.

"now you see me, now you dont".And has very clear lines between personal gain and clans benefit. Bribe him I guess? Happy to oblige to this! The Morning Rose Tribe is very accepting of the Beastclans and tries to be as diplomatic as possible to the various races that the hordes are made of. They are very interested in their lifestyles and hope that they can set a shining example of dragonkind for the wounded beasts. While sometimes conflicts are inevitable when they traverse through an area and are attacked by Beastclan warriors, they make sure to never be the aggressor and will only attack in self defense. Of all the Beastclans, the Morning Rose Tribe is on the best terms with the Maren and the Corven, as the warriors from those divisions they've fought were actually stark raving mad and menaces to the societies of the civilian Maren and Corven, and as such the tribe and those species of beasts get along, no pun intended, swimmingly. Sadly, there is one division of the Beastclans that the tribe has become enemies with for the most part, the Serthis, more specifically the sect of the Sunbeam Ruins. Not only are the Serthis regular instigators for attacks on the tribe, but many of the dragons of the tribe find their brutal lifestyle appalling and barbaric, and for the most part are like water and oil, though there are a few instances where Serthis have decided to live with the tribe, though it's highly likely they're not of the sect that lives in the Sunbeam Ruins and as such don't know or don't care about the regular feuds that occur between the tribe and the local sect. Regardless, the philosophy of the Morning Rose Tribe compels them to treat all as they would wish to be treated, and that the beasts are just as sentient and feeling as dragonkind, and as such deserve to be treated with upmost kindness and respect. As such, the prospect of a full alliance is a dream come true for the tribe. She is very persistent, too, refusing to give up when it comes to mentoring her students in the field of magic. Her prized pupil is a levelheaded and polite harpy by the name of Stellana, who has become rather skilled in the art of spellcasting. Another graduated apprentice who's since become a healer, Ari the faun(? Sigalit is always open to trying to learn to be a better future queen, so having a Longneck as her administer wasn't something she was opposed to, especially given how the tribe tries to maintain ties with the Beastclans. Talvi, being a very patient and stoic individual, contrasted well with the wide-eyed and naive princess, and he managed to educate her quite well in magic, meditation, and even the language of the Longneck. In fact, Sigalit is quite a fluent speaker of the Longneck's tongue thanks to Talvi, something she knows will serve her well. While it's very common for dragons to be close friends with Beastclans, from the examples above to some others, such as Monkshood and his Corven companion Karido teaming up to destroy the forces of evil to Celeste and Umon the Centaur looking after the young dragons and beasts with preoccupied or missing parents respectively, to the aforementioned Raban and Ari acting as brothers in the pursuit of wisdom, Salis' loyal associate and rival in water magic prowess Vartej the Maren, to so many more in the tribe that it's impossible to count, but Daithi isn't just close friends with Beastclans, but was practically raised by Centaurs. Shortly after he was hatched, he was taken into the care of the mated pair Sludd and Fryst, both of which being former warriors who cast aside their hatred for dragonkind after a dragon rescued them in the Southern Icefields while they were caught in a blizzard, Fryst being incredibly ill. They feared at first they were prisoners, but were treated as honored guests as the two were nursed back to health, even being kind to their newborn son and showing the two great sympathy and comfort when he passed away only a year into his life from sickness. After much discussion, they came to the conclusion that creatures with such a kindness to them in spite of the stories they heard couldn't possibly be enemies. Many years later, they acted as bodyguards for hire, offering their services not exclusively to beasts, but to dragons as well. It was at this time they were contracted to look after two dragons who were put into an arranged engagement, and eventually managed to complete their quest. One of these two dragons was Daithi, a Nocturne from the Shrieking Wilds. His memory didn't go back far enough to know what his home was like, so his earliest memories are that with the Centaur couple. As a hatchling, he showed more characteristics of a Centaur than a dragon, mostly thanks to his Nocturne tendencies to mimic, and was eventually taught to hunt properly as a Nocturne wasn't made to live off of just oats and carrots. [s]In spite of this, to this day he has a fondness for oats[/s] Even as he and his fiancee grew older, it was Daithi that remained closer with the pair, his betrothed Alexandra being the more independent type who preferred not to be babysat, while Daithi loved the company of these reliable guardians and always enjoyed spending time with them. To Sludd and Fryst, Daithi was like a second chance at raising their late son. Even when Daithi grew up and finally married his betrothed, even after he stopped acting so much like a centaur and even found his own circle of dragon friends and has since even picked up habits from his Lightning element mate, he still has a soft spot for the Centaurs that took care of him, and sometimes feels he's a Centaur at heart, himself.
