Other notes: I was thinking maybe feathered wings? Since his colors contrast I’d either like his wings to be covered or his body and head perhaps?

The only piece that ended up covering any part of the sun disks is the lattice on his wings, but even then it's just the very tip of it :3

The horizon starsilks add a nice contrast without being explicitly light themed, and if you happen to pick up another apparel slot in the near future, you could easily put one or a few layered halos on him too :3
