She’s a Mirror that passes around and gives a good spook to dragons that see her in the Tangled Wood. Formerly a well respected and world renowned botanist, Aralt traveled across the realms studying various plants and their uses in science and medicine. While studying the fungi of the Wispwillow Grove, he came across a peculiar specimen than had been mutated by the ever creeping contagion of the Scarred Wasteland. Continued exposure to the fungi and their spores has infected him with the very same contagion that he had hoped to study. He has fallen into a spiral of decay as the parasitic cordyceps entered his body and slowly grew using him as their host. As his body continues to mutate and decay, his mind has fallen into a similar state. He spends his days wandering in a zombie like trance, only broken by fits of feral violence and aggression. In his moments of clarity he hopes to find a cure for his affliction. There is method to his madness and his experiments have had results. He has yet to find a true elixir for immortality, but he has found a way to defy death. He's died many times for his obsession but he's learned the art of bringing himself back each time.
