Okay, with Starmap's release I've found myself inspired, and I'd recently found a new interest over on Twitter. Alternate Reality Games, something I was previously unaware of, came to my attention via TheSunVanished, a fascinating budding story full of horrible mystery and genuine dread. It has its' quiet moments, but I by no means believe it to be finished.
Introducing my project THESUNVANISHED:
Starmap is a good gene with which to allude to the night sky, and the Crackle dulls it sufficiently. Hypnotic works for once because it fits into the story, and the red Glowing eyes are in reference to... well, something. Read TSV to find out! (I am not a part of TSV)
Next, BINARYMOON:
Inspired by another ARG-project likely started because of TSV's success, this one gripped me almost as badly right off the bat. This one does feature sunlight! But white light might not seem so comforting anymore... Take a look at BinaryMoonProject for more info! (I am also not a part of BMP)
A fandom I see quite little of in the West these days (but which might actually experience some resurgence if the new anime/OVA pitch is serious!) is the Sengoku Basara fandom. I came into it late, and while it was always mostly about the games, I was in it for the two seasons of the anime, the OVA, and then the movie (we do not talk about The 'Third Season' that came in between those last two things)
Now, on to the actual subject... fandragons!!
Sengoku Basara features an unfairly handsome man by the name of Katakura Kojuro, and I have all sorts of feelings about him, most of which I definitely cannot speak of here.
I have everything arranged for his arrival, the pair with the perfect colour range is all prepared (pa & ma)... but across like 7 nests so far, it hasn't happened. Not once have I gotten a hatchling with the Oilslick tert I want! All I get is Flint and Charcoal! There's at least one of either in every nest! Ugh, Dragon-Kojuro-dono, how long will you have me wait?? Masamune needs you!
Do you have niche projects? Fandragon pairs that just won't give you the thing?
