I would love if any of these dragons could get a tidbit of lore ;w; They have some short notes on personality in their bios, but I'll leave a line or two with each of them to see if anyone catches your eye. A mail-Fae: sorts out messages for her couriers, basically a distribution center. Quiet and methodical. Employees are an absent Pearlcatcher and a Skydancer who's on a constant sugar rush. Actually really warm and jovial, but definitely in charge. I don't actually have any notes on her yet? Very warm healer, I think ;-; Nothing's in concrete. She was an impulse buy who wasn't supposed to stay, but here she is. Oops. Regardless of whether any of my dragons get picked (it's fine if they don't, you write whatever inspires you!), thank you for helping out the community with some free lore ;w; It's really nice of you. Hope it goes well.

@sleepytroll - I promised that I would write something longer for her, so here it is!

Quote:
Melinoe can still recall the feeling of being buried in snow. She remembers how long it took for the numb feeling to set in, and even longer still to accept the idea of death. She had come from so far, continued to stubbornly evade any attempts on her life, and now she lies trapped in a snowbank, shivering and broken. What had her mad world come to?

She barely remembers being lifted from the death trap she had fallen into, swaddled in warm blankets and force fed medicines with healing properties. Later, Melinoe would discover that a small clan had saved her, and would eagerly offer most, if not all, of her inheritance for a place among their ranks. Much to her delight, they would accept and begin to train her.

But before they came, Melinoe found herself wallowing in self-pity, feeling weak and useless against the raging, wrathful winds of the Southern Icefield. The Wildclaw would promise herself then, every time she would don her armor and begin practicing what had been taught to her by members of the Petrified Winds, that she would never succumb to such a feeling again. If she is someday destined to return to her home and right the wrongs done to her, then she would need to abandon all thoughts and feelings that have only managed to drag her down.

She shall rise and she shall get her revenge.

@Drominus - Your other two dragons inspired me as well, so here's something for the both of them!
"Hm?" Misao hummed, delicately turning the page of the book she held, enjoying the sound of her claws on the rough parchment. "I have always been curious," Zaecaru piped up again, slithering up besides her to skim over the passage she was currently reading. "That's wrong." He added suddenly, pointing to the messy text with one claw. "Apparitions are not always bound to the earth. As soon as we finish what ties us to the mortal world, then we can leave for the afterlife." "Is that so?" Misao murmured, mostly to herself than the Spiral. The Skydancer reached across her desk for her quill and ink. "You were going to ask me something earlier...?" She inquired, sending a curious glance at Zaecaru. "Ah yes. What was your life like, before you joined this clan, Misao?" He curled closer to her, turning his attention on the quill as she began to edit the passage with a deft paw. "Harsh." She answered simply. "I wasn't really welcome within the clan I once resided in. They didn't really... appreciate my fondness for written works." Setting the quill aside, she lightly blew on the page to dry the ink, before propping the book up so Zaecaru could see better. "Is this alright?" "Yes." The Spiral mused, smiling. "You write rather exceptionally." "Thank you." Misao set the book down, flipping to the next page. "Zaecaru?" "Yes?" "How come you don't complete the task that ties you to this world?" "Ah... I wish it was as simple as that..." He sighs a bit, leaning back, red eyes catching the soft light of candles. "It would take me a long time..." He mused. "And frankly, I'm too old for any new exciting adventures." "But you're dead." Misao observed. "Wouldn't it be easier in death?" "It's more complicated than that. Look, you should edit this passage as well." He pointed out, quickly changing the subject. "Alright."
"Alright."

Perhaps you would like to give it a try? She's the ward of this cursed animal here, who already has lore and a small backstory snippet:

@Sillywinter Oh my gosh!! This was unexpected, I adore the additional writing (anything from you is always wonderful to receive hahah)! You captured her spirit perfectly, a heart and mind hardened by circumstances, fending off death at every turn. Thank you so, so much, I appreciate you taking the time to write this! <3
