Seren is
sorta and
almost the center of the clan; he's a self-proclaimed resurrectionist, which he insists on over necromancer. You could call him skilled, technically, as the sheer number of undead dragons around the clan could attest- but the quality and methods he employs are...questionable. More astute observers would note that he has a habit of throwing the dead pasta at the wall and seeing what sticks.
Also questionable are whether or not he strictly works with already-dead creatures, and whether or not he is currently
alive by the strictest definition of the word. He refuses to truck with these lines of questioning.

Abraxas is what you might call an experimental metalworker, and pretty accomplished roboticist.
He's probably the main reason for Seren's greatest successes, as he is the one who assembles the mechanical bodies to serve as a vessel for the risen spirits Seren has the habit of conjuring up. He also makes prosthetics for dragons that come to them with various broken body parts, as his (and Seren's, by association) reputation grows, even if its in fearful and shadowy whispers.
The prosthetics are also helpful for repairing resurrected dragons that Seren wasn't quite...tender enough with.
Nobody knows what dragged a Lightning dragon of his skill and grim professional to...here, but rumor tends to center around the way he's never quite...solid when you're looking at him.

Soreth is a traditionalist, maybe to a fault, but it never seems to be a fault in a clan that has Seren in it. He's reasonably adept at magic, but even more adept at chemistry and alchemy- and he's the second person Seren goes to whenever he's ready to admit something went terribly wrong.
Anxious by nature, he only finds peace out gathering what he needs to experiment, or ingredients for their beleaguered clan healer. Reading the stacks of books on practical and magical theory would be on the list, except sometimes he comes upon a topic that he thinks might be helpful to Seren or Abraxas, and it gets him worked up all over again.
How
he ended up with the clan- and why he'd work for someone he is, at best, apprehensive about, is as obvious as the glow of his magically irradiated bones.
