Well I have 3 dragons actually named after gemstones so I will pick them~ First, my pair Topaz and Diamond [url=http://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=4968383][img]http://flightrising.com/rendern/350/49684/4968383_350.png[/img][/url] [url=http://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=4735402][img]http://flightrising.com/rendern/350/47355/4735402_350.png[/img][/url] They are old dragons, who have been around back when the clan lair was still in the Tsunami Flats. Their genes have been updated since their purchase (they wouldn't join the clan without a hefty 'donation'), but they still consider themselves the jewels of the lair. And they're not wrong. They also like to deck themselves out in like-colored gemstones to accentuate their own sparkle and shine. Have him stand next to a light and you'll find he's actually translucent! Just a little bit.

She was inspired by the coast of the Starwood Strand, where the woods meets the crystals and the sea. I always though she looked like a combination of rose quartz and celestine. [url=http://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=31332375] [img]http://flightrising.com/rendern/350/313324/31332375_350.png[/img] [/url] Slate, oh Slate, how he hates his name. He's like a turquise statue dropped in to the sea, slowly getting covered in emerald agae, piles of gold and jewels surrounding him, and they call him [i]Slate.[/i]

oh, i have a couple for these!! they aren't necessarily gemstone related, but i still love them!!! [url=http://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=13513435] [img]http://flightrising.com/rendern/350/135135/13513435_350.png[/img] [/url] first is my boy jasper!! i actually have a bit of a fun story about him. i was at a local art festival and there was a booth selling these really cute stuffed dragons that looked vaguely like imperials, and i ended up getting a sparkly orange one because it looked like this boy here!! he might not have any lore yet, but he's pretty important to me!! [url=http://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=16208780] [img]http://flightrising.com/rendern/350/162088/16208780_350.png[/img] [/url] next up is the clan's astrologist, aura! again, she's not entirely gem-related, but she's named after aura quartz!!

He wants to know how it works, why it happens, how Onyx Cobras are related to it. He regularly takes chips and shavings from fellow clan members' Gembonds to study what he can. He's an alchemist, but alchemy and science tend to go hand-in-hand! He's not a fan of Gembond cured by scrolls, or Gembond inflicted by a scroll. He's only interested in "natural" Gembond and "natural" Gembond remedies. Unfortunately he hasn't really found any natural cures yet, and scrolls seem to be the only way...

She has some wip lore, where she was originally sculpted from a block of jade to be gifted to a queen. Said queen liked the sculpture so much that she had her alchemist/wizard turnher into an intelligent golem, and placed her as the highest-ranking royal guard. [center]
