I got a couple of ghosts!
Well. My clan doesn't have anyone who is officially undead. But there are a lot of dragons who are...questionable. Basically, my clan doesn't question a lot of things. If you refuse to leave your chamber for anything short of an apocalypse; fine. You frequently speak in rhyme for no apparent reason; that's fine too. You make no sound when you move; also fine. So there's a lot of dragons that could be undead or close to it. Honestly, I doubt many of them would have given much thought to their own peculiarities, let alone explain them. My clan is weird...

Baleful is constantly being mistaken for a ghost, which upsets him, because he's pretty sure he's not one. Pretty sure. He's not positive, since his early memories are rather patchy. At any rate, he [i]is[/i] corporeal, and is pretty good at fighting. But he does kinda...glow. Very faintly, and you can only really tell if it's dark, and even then you might think your mind's playing tricks on you. It's certainly not enough light to see by, it just makes him a bit more visible in the dark. And yet he's still Wraith's number one lackey. Mostly because he married her...

Wraith is the one that moves without making any sound. She also blends into shadows, and loves to scare people and start fights. She can be a bit of a loudmouth too. She actually has some friends though. She's a pretty good fighter, and has a tendency to 'vanish' when fighting. When she's fighting a clanmate they get irritated, but don't question it much. Foreign dragons on the other hand, are extremely alarmed, and make sure they never have to face her again. (And yet she's not even in the top five of clan fighters - if only she'd apply herself!)

Candy isn't undead yet, but he does seem to be heading in that direction. He's possessed by an Arcane spirit. It doesn't appear to be sentient, but it does try to take over his body from time to time. So far it hasn't succeeded in wrestling control away from him, mostly because he has a will and it doesn't. But, the spirit has been interfering with his body's ability to generate it's own Lightning magic, which means his supply of it is slowly draining, while it can absorb more energy from it's surroundings. If it gets stronger than him...who knows.

Grim...no one knows what Grim is. Grim may not even know what Grim is. No one knows if he has a pulse or not. Grim showed up shortly after a half-demon named Glitch arrived, claiming to be her 'keeper'. No one knows what that is either. Popular theory is that he's some sort of attendant spirit, but the resident expert Silversoft refuses to confirm or deny that. He's been seen jumping out and into shadows to run errands for Glitch and generally unsettles people. He's also the only one who knows how to handle Glitch's 'deranged' state.

She doesn't consider herself to be one, she's just there to patch up the wounded. Her jewel is especially tuned to pick up on physical pain, even from long distances. So she seeks out battlegrounds and disaster areas to patch up survivors. Her jewel tells her who to heal first; she doesn't know how it determines this, but she doesn't question it either. She [i]does[/i] have a pulse, but as a blood mage that doesn't mean much...

Diana is the daughter of Wraith and Baleful, and has inherited abilities from both of them as well as a few of her own. Like her mother, she can move silently and blend into shadows (which makes more sense for her since she [i]is[/i] a Shadow dragon.) Like her father she glows faintly, but she can turn this feature off if she wants to. She can also dissolve into a dark, shadowy mist, something nether of her parents can do; very few people know about that last ability besides her parents and their closest friends. Diana herself is not very social.

Odds are good that he will join them someday, after he dies. The thought terrifies him, as he a quiet, mild-mannered sort by nature (in contrast to his rather gruesome appearance.) That's part of why he records folk-stories, he hopes he can find some way to make sure he stays dead after dying. So far the best he's gotten is a promise from his cousin to burn him when he dies. Assuming she outlives him of course.
