@Moonaire

Bumble? Kinda cliche, but it's cute. Snappers look like bumblebees in the dragon world.

Melissa is a name related to bees in Greek mythology, I believe!

I think the myth was that Melissa was the name of a nymph who took care of Zeus when Rhea hid him to prevent Kronos from eating him. She discovered and taught the use of honey and bees are believed to have received their name from her, as Melissa means 'honey bee'.

Melissa fed Zeus milk and honey, which he had developed a liking to once he came to rule on Mount Olympus. Kronos found out that she cared for baby Zeus and turned her into an earthworm. Zeus, however, took pity on her and turned her into a bee.
