So, I made a thread like this one time before and it was a pretty bug hit. It's very popular over on Quotev too. There's like a zillion quizzes dedicated to dere types. Yanderes in particular, for reasons I do not understand. (Good horror stuff I guess? I don't know.) Anyway, I was wondering if anyone had assigned any dere types to there dragons. I keep doing that to mine.
For those who don't know, dere types are personality types, here's a brief summary of the popular ones (please float around Quotev - I am not good at this!):
Yandere: Extremely possessive and stalkerish of loved ones (I'm expanding this beyond just their love interest.) Will try to keep their loved ones to themselves if at all possible. Will sometimes resort to violence to do so. In extreme cases, will isolate loved ones, and kill those who may 'steal' their loved one's attention. May even kill loved one if they feel neglected in extreme cases. Often seem sweet and cheerful on the outside.
Tsundere: Extremely irritable and grumpy. Generally will remain in denial over crushes for some time after developing them. Overprotective of any and all loved ones. May be somewhat possessive. Typically yell a lot. Typically associate emotional bonds/support to be a sign of weakness, and will deny them if possible. In extreme cases may even act violently towards those they care about. Have difficulty showing affection.
Deredere: Cheerfully and happy nearly all the time. Very affectionate to those they care about. Typically incapable of remaining sad for prolonged periods of time. May be hyperactive. Generally extremely sweet and good natured. Very outgoing and not at all shy. Typically have difficulty hating anyone. Can talk to almost anyone. Eternally optimistic. Often fall in love very quickly and easily. Sometimes have difficulty being serious.
Dandere: Shy and withdrawn. Typically sweet and loving towards those they are comfortable around, but quiet and nervous around those they aren't. Will often remain silent unless a conversation is initiated with them. Generally scared of people they don't know. Loyalty may be difficult to earn. Very kind, even towards strangers. May come out of their shell around those that they trust, but will remain fairly quiet even then.
Kuudere: Extremely calm. Generally seems emotionless on the outside. Has little difficulty talking to strangers, but will not show strong emotions to them. Typically consider displaying strong emotions a weakness, and so will only do so around people they trust. Extremely level-headed. Will open up around those they trust, and will often become teasing and sarcastic. In extreme cases one may entirely lack emotions. Subdued.
Undere: Overly agreeable. Their opinions are easily swayed by those around them in almost any circumstances. Often highly apologetic. In extreme cases, they may not even have their own opinions at all, and merely reflect those of the people around them. Will seldom stand up for themselves, even if they're mistreated. Often taken advantage of by others. Overly trusting, and generally naïve. Generally loyal. Often panicky.
Bakadere: Very, very ditzy, often clumsy as well. They are generally lacking in common sense, and are typically thought of as unintelligent. In reality, despite their goofiness, many are highly skilled at whatever they put their mind to. Just not at other stuff. Typically upbeat and optimistic no matter how much their silliness is mocked. Often extremely loyal, sometimes irrationally so. Generally not patient. May not recognize teasing.
Himedere: Extremely bossy. Will resort to tantrums, whining, threats, and violence if they are not obeyed. Will expect obedience even if they technically have no authority. Tend to be very obsessed with proving their skill, and will expect nothing less than perfection from themselves and others. Very proud; generally consider themselves above others. In extreme cases may expect those around them to pamper them endlessly.
Kanedere: Obsessed with money and/or power. Will go to great lengths to acquire them and in extreme cases may not hesitate to harm or abandon a loved one in order to do so. Most however, do have morals, and are merely a tad over devoted to it. Are typically very good at managing money and/or power, and are very protective of their own wealth. Often either miserly or luxury loving. Often have difficulty sharing with others...
It is very common for characters to be mostly one type, but have traits of another. I myself am a Kuudere with a pronounced Tsundere streak, and a friend of mine is a Bakadere with a mild Yandere streak (I promise she doesn't kill people. She did find her boyfriend's address on the internet though...)
