They called her "The Raging Bull" not only because of her stubborn attitude, but for her signature 'Bull Force' charge in which her wicked horns would gouge into the opponent at high speed, often leading to eyeballs being torn out or vital organs being pierced cleanly. Her onyx horns were often stained a dark sanguine, and that's when you'd know she finished her job. Sometimes she would take a minute, sometimes hours, but she'd always come back with those same bloodstained horns.

Her mate screeched, completely frozen as her body fell over the side of the boat, while the gondolier yelled for somebody, anybody, to help. Deciding now was the opportune moment to slip away, the mirror jumped off the roof and glided over the rooftops of Levitos. Once he was sure that he was far enough, Somnus set down on the cool tiles of the plaza. Claws clicking against the polished stone, he set off towards the alley he agreed to meet his client in. Despite what one might think, Somnus was a nature dragon. He would admit though, the confusion certainly made his job a lot easier.

With a wave of his hand, the vines winding along the sides of the alley wove themselves into footholds. Scaling the side of the alley was slower than flying, but he couldn't afford to attract attention.

The view from the rooftops of Levitos was truly stunning, he'd give it that. The gondolas' lanterns reflected beautifully off the calm seas, and the stars glowed like the Lightweaver herself had hung them in the sky.

But all this was a mere distraction. The wary would lose themselves in the festivities, and forget the countless enemies they had made over the years.

"Surely no one would think to ruin an evening like this." They'd say to themselves. "What's the harm in one night?"

But their enemies wouldn't forget. His current client was an angry Tundra, the fury shining in her orange eyes.

"He took everything from me. My mate. My home." She seethed, and he could practically hear the infernos crackling in her words. "I want you to make him suffer."

Somnus slid an arrow out of his quiver. There would be only one chance to take this shot, and the gondola his target would be on was just around the corner.

The Plague flight may have had their acids and pus, but Gladekeeper had given her children a much greater gift. Poisons. The most potent of her creations could stop a Guardians heart with a single bite, and he had a vial of it's concentrated essence.

Dipping the arrowhead into the vial, Somnus spotted the target's gondola turning the corner. When he drew the arrow from the vial, the only difference was the faint green iridescence on the black metal.

The gondola was nearly beneath him, and the faintest strains of music could be heard. A strapping young male Wildclaw was happily sitting next to a content looking Spiral. Most likely his mate, if the way the two were embracing each other was anything to go by. The dragoness had apparently just told a joke, for they were both laughing.

Nocking his arrow, he took his aim. Waiting. Silently drawing the bowstring back, Somnus took a deep breath. And let the arrow go.

Right into the pretty Spiral's stomach.

"An eye for an eye." He thought to himself.

The brilliant reds and oranges that flare across the sky are bearing good weather. You're simply enjoying your time here, admiring the beauty of the slightly crowded roads. You pass near an alley, hearing the faint mew of a cat. Looking down, you spot the source of the noise- an indignant looking little feline, with raven black fur and piercing eyes green as emeralds. Something about the way it looks at you reminds you of an old superstition: if a black cat crosses your path, it means bad luck. Merely shrugging the thought aside, you watch the creature bound away into the alley before continuing your stroll down the white cobblestone road you're following. You weren't one for silly superstitions like that, and thus, didn't think much of it. What a poor idea that was. Not much later, you've decided to turn around, passing by that alley again. For an unbelievable moment, no one is on the roads yet, and you're letting yourself breathe this crisp sea air. Only for a moment, though, as you suddenly feel claws cover your eyes with a rough cloth, and you're being dragged to the side with surprising force. Moments later your sight is back, and you've been dragged down the alley. Uncomfortable force is wrapped around you like a giant snake. Admittedly, that's not what actually caught you (perhaps thankfully). Instead, a young-looking spiral of indeterminate gender wearing an oversized white-pink suit with wide red eyes is staring deep into your own. You're ready to simply shove off the scrawny looking youngster, but he pulls three daggers between his claws before you can even move, holding them to your throat. Out of the corner of your eye, you spot that cat again. The feline looks almost smug, emerald eyes glittering in the darkness of the alley. That's the last thing you see, followed by the last thing you hear, "Please don't think ill of me."

Her burlap hood restricted the view from her light sensing eyes, but she could see clearly the hulking shape with her heat sensing ones. Letting out one last breath, she bared her teeth and leapt. Launching out from between the bushes, she wrapped her talons around the neck of the Imperial resting on the ground. Disengaging from her prey, Mellona looked up then jumped off, looking around for her employer. On cue, a dark coloured Coatl, his near-black feathers rippled with blue, stepped out. Even though no words were spoken she knew she was being congratulated on her kill, and that the bag of treasure on the ground was her. Stalking forward, the Imperial's lifeblood still dripping from her hide, she snagged it up in her claws, a malicious smile on her face. Mellona woke with a jolt, hanging half off her bed. Giving her head a shake, and surprised by how dark her dream was, she untangled herself from her sheets.
