Dragon Share

Whenever I run across a dragon that has a bio full of OC material it instantly sheds new light on that dragon, and I can't help but see it in a different perspective which gives me more respect for it. It gives the dragon depth. So here I'm hoping to see many of your OCs embodied within your dragons. I lean more towards human OCs that have been given a dragon to display them, but any OCs are fine. No need to ping me, but I'll most likely go through all of your dragons and read about them. (Semi accurate pic of him in bio) [url=http://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=21193906] [img]http://flightrising.com/rendern/350/211940/21193906_350.png[/img] [/url] Usually I create an OC then buy a dragon to hold my OCs bio then dress them accordingly, but this guy is different. I found him in the AH and he fit everything about an OC that I couldn't quite wrap my mind around. I even kept his name and in my story he goes by Grim, though he has a different name he was given at birth that I haven't discovered yet ^^' Basically he is the head of the Tribal Defense in the Riverglow tribe. He is very calm and collected and basically keeps the whole tribe running smoothly. He's the "top dog" and he knows it, though he shows respect to those he comes in contact with. That includes those in higher status than him which is basically only the head of the tribe itself and their officials. He's very friendly and compassionate but he makes sure things get done and that they get done right. He doesn't stand up for foolishness and messing around, and he is the last person you want to disrespect or mess with. Even though he's kind he holds an intense power within him that he nurtured and grew when he was a child. This power is possible with almost anyone in my OCs world, but he exceeded in growing it and devoted all of his childhood to it. This power (inspired by his flight nature) is ice. He has complete control over it and can form it in nearly any environment to do his will. It is extremely powerful which allows him to dominate nearly any situation. When he activates his power markings grow on his body and face, and this is because he's completely awakened it (inspired by his accent). There's a whole lot more too him, but I honestly don't know how many people will read it all or care very much ^^' so if you want to know any more about him, or the tribal world that he lives in, feel free to ask. @Defiance That sounds like an interesting character and world you have there. Seems pretty involved and well thought-out. It's also pretty cool how you have different parts of the dragon represent different parts of your character. When I make my OCs into dragons, I really water them down. Mostly because the universe they live in is really not compatible with Sornieth, what with the types of super powers they have. So I usually give them different ones. But they are nevertheless dear dragons to me, even if they don't represent my characters perfectly. She's not an oracle or a kite-flyer or anything in her world, though. That was a little thing just to make her fit into Sornieth because her life isn't really compatible here. I picked those two items basically for symbolism for myself because, well, no one knows about my OCs except me, and I want my dragons to be enjoyable for other people and... fit into Sorneith, I guess. Because my OC lives in a low-fantasy sort of world, and there are so many deities here, it's a little difficult for the worlds to mesh. I like her a lot though. I had been looking for a good dragon to represent her for a while, and I think I found her at fodder price... She was perfect because she has lead wings, but her stain makes her look brighter than she is. It was just a little bit of symbolism purely for me that sort of embodies her arc.

I consider her OC form to be very personal to me, so I don't really share her story(besides the fact that I can't write worth a hill of beans). I have an alternate story to fit her FR form(also not written). Note that she actually IS supposed to be a dragon, though no dragon fit her perfectly(it was a tossup between female ridgeback and female guardian.

GRIM IS A BEAUTIFUL DRAGON. I only have two OC dragons so far, a sibling pair. I should make more of my OCs into dragons, but it's a bit of an undertaking, isn't it? I'm also having thoughts about her having a human form (she's supposed to be a dragon) but I'm still not to sure so art and all that's just gonna have to wait for a bit.

Nadia is pretty cool! I have a friend with that name ^^ I totally agree with you when you say no one knows your OCs except you. It's amazing how attached you can get to them even though they are totally within your own mind. Nadia sounds pretty cool with what you've shared :)

They started out as HTTYD OCs, but have since migrated into modern AU when the RP site I was part of died T_T ANYWAYS! Jokul's kind of a stick in the mud :P He's got astigmatism, so he has to wear glasses or he's as blind as a bat. You can probably tell by looking at his face (both in the bio and the dragon's) that he's grumpy a lot. He tends to avoid everyone and anything too exciting. Unfortunately for him, he's got Starkad as a younger sibling. She's almost the exact OPPOSITE of him. She's hyper, loud, and the epitome of a social butterfly. She's also the most adorable thing EVER because she's my innocent baby!
