TOPIC | Snapper Apparel?
So I have my Snapper here, Kith. So, does anyone know of any good apparel for her, or show your outfitted Snappers? I can't find anything that looks good, since Snappers have a rather large size difference between all the dragons.

@Nicolle This is how I outfitted one of my female Snappers. Because Snappers have such bulky bodies, loose-looking apparel looks more appealing on them. Stuff like the breeches, mage coats, capes, lab coats, etc., or things that look big, accentuate the Snapper's burliness. Organic-looking clothes also look better on Snappers, such as the arm guard on Ironheart, or the bandanna on her head. Here's Rokkaku, one of my male Snappers. Like Ironheart, his clothes are more open, loose, and flowing, with the Renaissance shirt and haori, as well as the color scheme matching of the red accents of the forestsong mask under the reddish bandanna. Following a color scheme helps with planning an outfit, since it's easier to narrow down the huge list of apparel to a much more manageable number based on what matches with the Snapper's body and genes. Yours, for example, would best benefit from clothing that was green, blue, black, or white. Purple might be effective in moderation, if it were an accent color and not a dominating item. Other notes I have on dressing Snappers: 1. Accent items such as the silks and deepsea bulbs don't work too well on Snappers. Their big bodies make tiny, dainty items look odd or out-of-place. If using accessories, it's best to use items that look more like a part of the Snapper rather than a little trinket. Rokkaku's lemongrass wings are one of my better examples of this. 2. You have to be careful with footwear on female Snappers. Because of their scrunched back feet, the majority of footwear doesn't look great on them. If you want to dress up a female Snapper's back half, tail and leg apparel does a better job of it than footwear.

Hey, friendly reminder to drink water, stretch, and take a short break if you can. Stay healthy! Also, don't forget about any chores or tasks you might be putting off.

@Nicolle i've got only one snapper and she's bright green so i can't say i've got experience dressing snappers, but i think your lovely lady would look good in the following items! not in any particular order, nor as an exclusive outfit. just some of the pieces i think she'd look good in: [item=aqua deepsea bulb] [item=crane's wing fans] [item=grove sylvan wings] [item=grove sylvan twist] [item=twice-dyed mantle] [item=seashell mantle] [item=aquamarine flourish tail drape] [item=aquamarine flourish necklace] [item=wavespun feathered wings] [item=wavespun tail feathers] [item=celadon silk sash] [item=sky blue silk sash] [item=celadon wing silks] [item=sky blue wing silks] (experiment with layering the silks!) also any of the aqua birdskull apparel and any of the simple darksteel apparel. accent colors would be good, especially darker colors like deep purples and blacks. or go all out with vibrant colors, like with the brewable gladiator gear! edit: my snapper AcidBath for reference(?) @Nicolle I'd say that, for snappers, simplicity is generally best. Definitely avoid most of the dresses and tunics, but experiment to see what kinds of looks she can pull off. I actually used to have a similarly colored snapper girl, and while she's gone now, I've dressed up another gal in a similar style (but with different colors): So, y'know, simple and elegant, with smaller pieces working together to make a complete outfit. Very few of them are from the same set, because of the way snappers wear certain clothing. I just kinda worked around those limitations to get the look I wanted. My other snapper gal is similar: But she also has the benefit of an accent that "fills in" her attire.

@lamarqueisdead

Ooh, very nice. The loose clothing really does work a lot better. And yeah, footwear doesn't really work for Snappers, but since Kith has Gembond, she doesn't need footwear.

@NekoTheKat

Kith is part of Anastasia's (my female Coatl, and I'm still in the process of writing lore for the both of them) treasure hunting group, so is there any apparel you think would fit that?

@panicrobot

I think the sylvan apparel along with the silks would look nice on her. (Also, unrelated, is there any other way I can view combinations of apparel on dragons?

@eggod

Yeah, simple is pretty much better on Snappers, since some things can look really awkward on the them.

I only have one Snapper at the moment, but I'm glad I got her. Eheheheh.

output-onlinepngtools.pngI refuse...
@Nicolle unfortunately, there's no way in-site to view more than one apparel at a time (and even then it's not even on your own dragon, it's on a base image. it's really frustrating in situations like this) i had a link that could preview apparel packs, but it's all been taken down for violating FR rules :/
