My two progens are based off of the main characters from my favorite book called Ready Player One. My random progen's colors were lucky enough to match the character's colors. :)

I only really have one basic-basic anymore, except for my Nocturne, but this sweet little baby girl hatched out of an egg a few weeks back and I can't think about getting her genes because she's beautiful the way she is, soil/sky/leaf just like the earth:

Like a lot of people, one of mine is my custom progen, Increase. There are various genes that would look pretty good on him, but whenever I preview them I can't help but feel he wouldn't be himself anymore if he were gened. I built him the way I liked him and I'm sticking to it, though an accent (extra fluff, perhaps?) may be in his future.

The only other triple basic plentiful I consider a permanent dragon is HalfACup. He's a gen1 I picked up as fodder during a battle and I wouldn't change a thing about him, not even the weird, confusing, theme-breaking name he came with. I love how smooth and sleek light-colored basic guardians look and he's inspired me to keep a somewhat similarly colored lady guardian from a legacy challenge to be his mate (can't show her here because she has a wing gene, though).
