He looks almost exactly like his father, save for a few gene tweaks (switched tiger for bar and added underbelly) and that awful mulberry tertiary. Not to say I don't like mulberry, it just didn't really fit with the earthy tones I'm a huge sucker for.

He's also one of the few dragons in my clan that has a very strong, defined personality--he's basically a Peter Pan type figure, complete with his trusty companion TinkerBurd the dodo.

This Imperial was probably my most expensive dragon I have bought from the AH but he was ever so worth it. Am Slowly gaining the apearal for him all he really needs is a black wofl pelt and I think he'll be where I want him to be hehe ^.^

I was searching through the dragon search for a dragon with her colors, and found her on the very last page. She wasn't for sale, but had recently hatched so I messaged her previous owner, and they literally just gifted her to me because they didn't like her colors.
Since I got her I've pampered her with all of her apparel and her accent, and I even got her crackle gene for her. Now that Bar and Daub are out, I'm steadily saving up to get those genes for her next. I'd still consider her perfect, though.
In my clan lore, she's the mate of my clan leader, the clan dancer, and she also looks after the hatchlings for their parents - she's an integral part of my clan.

Calypso was my first Spiral, my first breed changed dragon, first Iri/Shim, and is one of my all time favorite dragons of mine. :'3 She's 100% perfect and I wouldn't change a thing about her!

Here I'm going to tell you all a little about my Progenitor, Midna! {Yes, this is my original dragon from when I joined June 8th, 2013!!}
Midna was originally a Mirror dragon, as I felt that fit her personality type the best of all the starter breeds. For the longest time, I kept her un-gened due to lack of funds, and uncertainty about what breed to change her to as well. But when Skydancers were announced, I was in love! And so, she was breed changed for the first and final time.
After that, I continued to gather gems and treasure to afford her other genes. Shimmer had always been on my list, but I was stuck for such a long time as to what primary and tertiary genes to give her. It was so hard for me to think of what would work best and not detract from her accessories too much {because as the clan matron, she needs all those accessories! Lol} She started out with Simple Gold jewelry, soon acquiring some battle scars from kicking butt in the Coliseum. She's currently my strongest dragon! Eventually some other items came along that complimented her wings well, and that accent by @Haselnusse just really pulled it together, imo.
Iridescent and Tiger were probably my choices for genes before the more recent genes were announced, and I was kind of set on not giving her a tertiary. It was great that she ended up being XYX, but nothing seemed to fit. It all just looked too... busy.
Until Ripple and Spines came out, that is! I've finally found the perfect combo of genes to compliment my starter's looks, and I couldn't be happier. Spines was the perfect way for her to show off her tert color but not in a way that is overly distracting.
So, what do you guys think? Did I make a good choice? :3c
