Arram is my random progen and Mirror lore influenced the clan a lot. The mixture of letting dragons come and go as they please and not imposing any particular organisation on them with insisting they all know how to fight. It suits my somewhat eclectic lair.

Magma has become a dragon I couldn't imagine my lair without. His charge is the clan's nests and he looks after the eggs (in the incubators he carries if they need it), the new hatchlings, and nervous parents. He's a rather gruff dragon outside that.

And Klaus Wulfenbach was the first of my collection of Girl Genius fandragons, inspired by the grumpiness of male Snappers.

I definitely have a clan for wayward souls. They pretty much fall in two categories just like my progens. Gypsies, like Alrescha, are the artistic, diplomatic, and fashionable. Pirates, like Redemont, are the fighters and explorers. Both sides enjoy gold and parties.

My clan is that of magic users of all sorts, some who are able to cast it very well, and some who are able to simply channel it into things such a luck, cooking or even gathering. No three in my lair show off their abilities as best as Gen, Shayn and Lutherin.
First up is Lutherin, my lair's resident Shaman who dabbles in Necromancy on the side. He hails from the Ashfall Waste, but many would find him more akin to the Tangled Wood. He is dark and imposing and speaks very little. He blends in with the shadows in his corner of the lair, and only comes out when he is needed.

Next is Gen. He is my elementalist, and very fittingly uses Nature, my Flight, as his prime element. He likes to say that he has found a way to use Plague magic, but no one believes his fantasies. He holds great pride in his homeland, The Viridian Labyrinth, and spends much of his time gathering for the lair. He is a fearsome fighter and hopes to one day be the clan's right hand. He has found his charge in an area: The Behemoth, and not so patiently awaits the day he may finally reach it, unable or unwilling to leave his mate, Aevira, to do so.

She is in tune with the lore of the lands and will often relay the stories to the hatchlings in the nest that are not frightened by her appearance. Were she not so magically inclined, some would peg her as a rogue, able to exist silently amongst the rest of her clanmates. She has a narcissistic streak, and takes good care of herself. Her magic is of death itself and has permanently seared her body with its marks. Her charge is the Angel of Death and she stops at nothing to do her work.
