You have made it to The Divine Realm, a Realm long abandoned by the deities and connected to Sornieth through the Storm Gate. Adventures await within!
In other words, this is my Lore thread. There will be posts for each dragon in the order they joined the Clan, and maybe after that stories on them. If you want to post on anything, please do so in my Biolocke rather than in this thread!

[size=5]K[/size]olr Stormwing is no stranger to hurricanes. He grew up in the Twisting Crescendo, born from its depths, and slowly made his way to the edge. There, he found a whole world removed from the wind and storms that he was used to. He loved the wind, even though it was harsh and unwelcoming, but he also wanted to explore.
[size=5]H[/size]is was the untamed spirit of the storm, far removed from the gentle breezes and gusts in the rest of Windswept Plateau, and he rushed through it, acquiring friends and companions along the way. Then they made their way through the rest of Sornieth from the Sunbeam Ruins to Dragonhome. Kolr hoped that these days would never end, but alas, not all good things can last.
Kolr’s last expedition happened when he and six other friends decided to explore the Southern Icefield. The group of heroic adventurers included Cylix Windrunner, a Skydancer born near the Twisting Crescendo, Peria Dusk, a bold Veilspun from deep within the Tangled Woods, a Tundra dragon named Sylph Brighteyes, and some others. While the group did prepare, they didn’t realize the hardships that dominated the Southern Icefields.
[size=5]T[/size]heir first couple of weeks into the Icefields went exactly as planned, the weather was livable, they met some native dragons, and had an overall good adventure. Once they reached ____ though, a blizzard began. The blizzard was intense, and the explorers were forced to remain in a cave to survive. But the storm raged on, and soon the group was nearly out of food. Thus, they began to send dragons out to try to find food or shelter At first the group met with success, but as they hunted the sparse game, it moved further and further from their shelter, and they were unable to find any other traces of civilization. One by one, the explorers began to not come back. First they lost Peria Dusk, then a Fae companion. After this, Sylph decided that since she was a Tundra dragon, she would be responsible for the hunting from then on out. Then one day, she herself didn’t come back. Kolr was distraught, and went to search for her. She was one of his oldest companions, and he couldn’t bear to lose her.
[size=5]H[/size]e pushed his way through the storm, his bulky guardian form enabling him to last much longer than his other companions. Finally, he gave up, and sat in the snow field, wings shielding him. He called out to the wind, hoping against hope that the Windsinger would send his voice to Sylph, wherever she was.
He listened, but heard nothing. Finally he gave up and decided to leave and go back before he himself perished. Windsinger must have heard his prayer, though, for as he was stumbling back through the blizzard, he tripped over something soft and cold. He looked down to see the frozen body of Sylph, buried in snow. Kolr was much larger than the petite tundra dragon, and he was able to scoop her up and sling her over his back. With faltering steps, he made it back to the cave, only to realize, there was no one here anymore.
[size=5]K[/size]olr had no idea how long he had been gone, and had no idea where the surviving dragons had gone. There was no trace of them, and their food and supplies remained untouched. Putting them out of his mind, Kolr set about trying to save a very frozen Sylph. His fires for her, and the sparse food he was able to find, eventually reawakened her. But she was tormented by icy nightmares, and didn’t seem to remember much of her life. By this time, several weeks had passed, and Kolr had no hope for his former friends to come back. They were most likely dead and gone. Then, the storm died, and he and Sylph slowly made their way back to the Windswept Plateau. Kolr was grieving and decided never to let that happen again. He settled down in a more wild region of the Windswept Plateau, in a place that was not boring but was safe enough to nurse Sylph back to health. Though he didn’t seek them, dragons began to join them, and his clan slowly grew. He committed himself to protecting them forever, and training them to explore in a safe way.
[size=5]S[/size]oon after his clan began to grow, he wanted to find a better way to keep them all safe, especially if they wanted to explore more dangerous areas. He heard of a type of magical scroll that could change dragon breeds, and he decided to do the impossible and use one to change himself into a gigantic Fathom dragon. He could now be a physical wall for his clan.
