There are a few differences from FR lore in my lore, namely Ancients being unaffected by aging and that Dusthides, Sandsurges and Auraboas are much larger than what they're defined on-site (Auraboas being much longer and slightly thicker while the other two are generally larger).

Ancient History
______
The history of the Akubon Cave starts with a hill made by the Earthshaker. This hill was nameless –like all others of it's time– and remained undisturbed for the rest of the remaining First Age, when it was created, and the Second Age. During the closing of that age, the explosion in the giant reactor devastated the land of life, and multiple physical laws bended to the will of the chaos of the arcane detonation. Underneath the hill, the tectonic plates split through it's center and violently separated, turning the hill into a canyon.
Soon after the devastation, two new deities arose and fought vehemently. Each slash of the Plaguebringer and Gladekeeper threw a piece of them across the world. These pieces grew into terrible sprouts of infection and magnificent biomes, respectively. One of the sprouts of the Gladekeeper fell into one side of the canyon. With time it grew to be a giant root system, expanding deep below the ground, above it merely looking as plain shrubbery and small grass patches sparse across both sides of the canyon, roots growing deep within.
