Finally, the creature draws back as it completes its tales, with a heavy exhale that stirs up dust and pages. You stand, muscles aching as you realize just how long you've been here. But still, you watch the storyteller expectantly.
It laughs, breathlessly. "All that, and you want more?" it titters. "Tell you what. Come back tomorrow night, and I'll have more stories for you then."
You nod, and with that, the storyteller disappears back into the shadows of the studio.
