[center][img]https://i.imgur.com/tCF33NE.png[/img] [color=#5D5440][size=6][font=arial][b]clan of the blacksand mesa[/font][/b][/size][center] [columns][color=white]..........................[nextcol][color=#5a5a49][size=3][font=arial]a territory resting at the far east of the Ashfall Waste that stretches to the borders of the Shifting Expanse. it is governed by a lone mirror and her circle, where over time the mesafolk have found home in this lawless wasteland. the dark chambers are filled with voices and the wind is swept by salt and smoke. harpy beastclans in nearby territories have allied with the dragons of the mesa to protect this barren ground and involve in occasional trade. the chambers are hidden within narrow pathways of sunken walls and carved, black rock swathed with woven fabrics. funnels and vents constantly billow out plumes of sweet-smelling smoke, guiding fires are lit on top of rocky pinnacles, and many mouths are carved into the steep cliffs to provide lookout and access. anything happens in the smog of the night, the howling of dragonfolk that have travelled far across the dark plateau share tales of their strange journey. to the west, the waning flicker of the Great Furnace's flame can be seen. so far from either region, these unclaimed skies carry both a charged air and volcanic haze. where shadows have walked before, have unfinished work beneath the dust.[/size]
