oh also have this cursed portrait i had to do for an art class. technically all i had to do was draw in pen so the decision to make this unsettling thing was all my own

Ahhhhh I love your style! The cartoony elements are really striking and your anatomy is absolutely on point.
As for advice, I'd say try experementing a bit with shadows, particularly block shadows. Your art already looks absolutely superb and your style is glorious how it is, but I think it'd help make your colours really stand out, especially in the more one-tone drawings, as well as give your characters a little more depth ^^
(Please keep in mind this is just from observation, I only recently started drawing more so im pretty bad I just look at art a lot ok thank)
(Also your pen demon face is glorious)

aaaa thank you so much for the kind words!!! hearing that my anatomy looks nice is like,,, so good??? trying to get stuff to look right is difficult so knowing you think i did well makes me very happy :) and thank you for the advice, i tend to avoid shading and stuff thats more on the finishing side of things bc my favorite part of drawing is when i just brain vomit my ideas onto the page and work on them a little bit after the initial point of inspiration. finishing stuff is super scary since i always want things to turn out nice if i put any meaningful amount of time into the piece and sometimes it just looks worse than when i started and that feels Very Not Good but i know i should probably push myself past that point bc getting better at stuff like that will help me when i need to do shading and stuff for commission work.
