A constructor of instruments, most notably pianos. In recent years, his mental state has begun to decline, and the pianos that he creates often hide nasty surprises - a bit of locally-sourced beastclan bone in the ivories here, small vials of derg blood hidden under the machinery there - is there some sort of reason to this madness, or simply the actions of a derg losing his battle with reality?

He has a particularly profound effect on hatchlings, who, when they catch word of his existence, fear going to sleep - even if he's never paid them a personal visit.
