So I'm a part of an amazing Discord Server that works towards motivating each other and helping each other to learn and grow as artists. We just did a partnering up where I was partnered with a very self-motivated person who has a year-long study challenge that they've posed me to join them with.
And now since I know I'm going to post the end results in multiple places to keep myself motivated- I figured why not share the challenge here as well and see if anyone else wants to join in.
Challenge Start & Rules:
-First rule is to draw every day. The post-it note challenge is where you doodle on a post-it note every day. No rules to follow, no min or max time to spend on it. Could be a stick figure, could be a masterpiece- up to you.
-Second rule is to pick things to study. For us it's going to be real animals/anatomy bc we're concept artists who want to eventually break those anatomy rules in a way that makes sense. For you it could be dragons, manga proportions, etc, etc.
-Third rule is to post the studies in a public manner. Could be here, FB, discord, friends or family only, etc. You choose how public you want to be. For me- it's going to be Discord, FB, here, and dA- possibly tumblr and instagram.
