@CrAZDragon @BeardedDragon123 Soooo... it looks like the Android version can't open .PSD files. You're going to have to open the files on your computer and save them as a .mdp file. Then, you transfer the .mdp file to your mobile device. Here's a walkthrough after that:
@FarOverThePlains Wow...okay, this is definitely not an intuitive process for most users, I'd reckon. They really could have made this easier. If you have a PC, you can move files around by connecting the Kindle to it. If you don't, you'll likely need a file manager if the Kindle didn't come with one. I use Solid Explorer. Also, if you run Marshmallow or Nougat (Android 6 or 7), you'll need to grant it storage permissions or it will crash. Let me know if you need help with this. OKAY. SO. Hopefully I make this easy to follow (sorry for the huge images, anyone viewing this on PC) : Upon opening the app, you're greeted with this screen: Click Local Saves, then the plus in the top right corner: You'll see the directory, and note that it's empty. No way to change the directory in the app that I can see, which is...not very user-friendly. Hm. Here's where you'll need your file manager. These screenshots show Solid Explorer Pro, but free should be the same (hope...fully...) There will be a dropdown of your folders. The MediBang folder is empty... ...so you'll need to navigate to your Downloads, where the files you downloaded are. You'll note that I really need to clean mine. Long press on the file, then click the icon that looks like two sheets of paper to copy it to your clipboard. Navigate back to the MediBang folder, and click the clipboard in the bottom right...and presto! Now you can go back to the MediBang app, select import MDP as before, and... That being said, if you're willing to drop some money on a piece of software, Autodesk Sketchbook will let you open a .PSD no problem. I have the paid version (which was $5) but the free version might work? You'll need to try it on a tablet though 'cause the file will get cut down on a phone screen.

Unfortunately I have neither a computer or a tablet, but thanks anyways! I'll keep looking around.
Again, thank you for your time!

The free version of Sketchbook won't open Psds. It says the size and file type are unsupported. (I think that's because the free version only lets you have like 3 laters or something)
Thanks for your help though!
Edit: have tried other apps (including official Photoshop apps) and they all claim that the files are corrupted or cannot be opened. I think I'll just wait until I can access a computer.

@crazdragon Hmmm. Iiiii have another idea? Locate the .PSD on your phone with your file manager. Long press it until a new menu comes up and try to look for something that says "share". It might also have a logo like this: Click on that, then choose to open it with Medibang.

What I do, is open the psd, and then save it to my tablet. Then I open it. I don't think it's a psd anymore, but as far as I can tell, it doesn't have to be a psd to be a skin or accent. Correct me if I'm wrong, I never published a skin.
