So Shadowbinder's entourage found the bones of a Guardian at the edges of the tangled woods. Shadowbinder came and worked her Magic on the bones. The flesh and scales came back, the body colored Obsidian Black, the Wings a Jungle Green, the eyes of course formed as purple. Shadowbinder did not allow her adopted children to see her directly. As the Guardianess woke and opened her eyes, there was only the echo of a name, 'Tisima', left in the shadowy night.

They found each other in the darkness, and a bond was quick to form. Together they sought out shelter from the semi-welcoming forest around them, clearing out a small space for themselves to rest at the river's edge. They spoke, about the strangeness of their being here. how neither of them could remember being hatchlings, or parents, or siblings, and they found solace in the fact that they were not the only one to have such blank minds when they already knew so much else about themselves and their kind. Tisima didn't need the fae to say he was a Fae, she had known the moment she'd seen him. Likewise JackPumpkin hadn't needed to know she would enjoy being near the water, he already knew Guardians were naturally Aquatic dragons.
They quickly grew quite close indeed, becoming mates, and having their first clutch of eggs together, two small eggs, dark grey shell and glowing blue membrane allowing the clutch of eggs to be camouflaged among the glowing mushrooms of their first lair together. In time the eggs would hatch, and their small family would begin, but first there were others to deal with.

Another Dragon had decided to explore the Tangled Wood, an older Coatl with Tarnish brown scales that looked like petals, Umber Brown Wings that looked like they belonged on a butterfly and a white glimmering underside. JackPumpkin and Tisima welcomed him to their home, a bit wearily, but soon enouhg th lair was overrun with hatchlings all showing night sky colors; blues, blacks, dark greys and purples. With their own nest not yet hatched, and being unfamiliar with childrearing, Kivas quickly took hold of the situation, wrangling the hoard of orphaned hatchlings.
He became the Clan Grandpa, letting JackPumpkin Forage for inscets and plants, while Tisima took care of hunting and fishing, each taking turns - when one forages or hunted, the other kept close watch on their first two eggs. Soon enough Tisima and JackPumpkin's eggs hatched, and they were met with two beautiful fae children. Surprisingly enough they were little copies of their parents.
The first was a little boy they named Eclipse. He had a black body with a pale, dirty cream accent on his belly and head-fins. His Cheek fins and wings were a buttercup orange-yellow color.
The second egg was a little girl they named Dryadia for her coloring. She also had a black and dirty-cream coloring to her body and headfins, but where her Brother Eclipse took more after their father, Dryadia took more after their mother; her wings and cheek fins were a swampy green color. Tisima and JackPumpkin were very proud parents, to both their children. They raised them the best they could.
As they grew, Eclipse and Dryadia saw many of the other hatchilngs turn into adults and leave the nest to start their own families. While they were with Tisima and Jackpumpkin though, Eclipse and Dryadia heard the nickname the other hatchlings and dragons gave them; Bone Children.
Eclipse and Dryadia grew with the nickname. They eventually learned that they were called bone children for how their parents were made; from the bones of fallen dragons. They were glad when the other hatchlings grew and left the lair, the nickname left with them for the most part.
Neither of the children showed much interest in becoming leader of the clan however. They found mates of their own, and began their own families in the lair.
Eclipse found a lovely Pearlcatcher for a mate named Cloudsinger, together they had a cute little Fae girl named Dusklight.
Dryadia as well found a mate, a Spiral who called himself NightSkimmer. They had a single egg, a fae boy named Crow.

One Ichor Nymph was on her way back to Shadowbinder's Lair, passing the other nymphs and illusionists and other assorted beings. Shadowbinder's egg collection was in the process of being processed for placement with lucky clans. As this one little Nymph passed a pyramid of eggs awaiting their final touches, the breeze from her fluttering wings was just enough to rock the egg at the very top of the pile. It hadn't been properly places and was too carefully balanced at the top, but now it was rolling down the side and out into the wild.
The Nymph shrieked in alarm, and dropped her load of ichor, fluttering after the egg as fast as she could. it rolled faster the she could fly however, and came to rest near a dragon out gathering supplies. The Nymph froze, hoping the Dragon wouldn't notice, or step on, the egg that had come to rest in the damp grass nearby. her heart fell though when the dragon did notice the egg, and picked it up to take it back with them. The Nymph raced after them, luckily the Dragon was in no hurry to return, otherwise she wouldn't have ever been able to keep up. she stopped at the entrance of the lair when the Dragon returned to it's clan, peeking in. Technically she wasn't supposed to be seen by Dragons, she was Shadowbinder's own, after all! She had to get the Egg back somehow.
As she looked into the lair of the Dragon clan the egg had been found by, she saw a large Obsidian and jungle dragon clutching the eggshell's remains, with a tiny pale Guardian sitting among the broken bits of shell. Seeing the baby being so pale compaired to all the darker dragons, the Nymph rushed in to protect the baby guardian, clinging to the newly hatched dragon and chittering angrily at the dragoness that seemed to be the closest to the baby.

A day after Crow's hatching, a strange thing occurred. One of the members of the lair went out to gather food for the clan, as is done every day, and came back with a lost Shadow Egg. Tisima decided to take care of the egg, missing being a Mother herself, and curled her front claws around it. It hatched into a small Guardian boy, pale compared to everyone else in the Lair. He had a Moon colored body, and Taupe wings.
Almost immediately after, into the lair came an Ichor Nymph, chittering angrily and clinging to the little hatchling, who didn't seem to mind the nymph clinging to it's tiny frame. Tisima wasn't sure what to do at first, but the Nymph wasn't hurting the boy at all. The nymph actually seemed quite protective of him; cleaning him and examining his wings carefully. Tisima tried to name the child, but the Nymph kept rejecting the names Tisima chose. It would be days before they came to an agreement, and the pale guardian baby was given the name Lunar. Soon after, Tisima offered the Nymph a name as well, Isabella.
Isabella has stayed with Lunar ever since, helping to raise him. Lunar as a result, learned to understand Ichor Nymphs. As he grew, he allowed Isabella to ride on his back and head, being so much larger than her it was easy for him to carry her when she couldn't fly fast enough to keep up. She might not be a Dragon, but his bond with Isabella is stronger then anything else he's known so far.

Crow and Lunar grew into adults along side Tisima's second nest, which included two more Fae and a Guardian. Eldest son Myntu and fraternal twins Pandora (the Guardian) and Prometheus (a fae), life in the clan was good, and during their adolescent years, it was decided that the 'Clan' was more of a 'Flock', and the 'lair' was their 'nest'.
For a time, Lunar fancied Pandora, being the only other Guardian in the flock at the time, but she was too much younger then himself, so their affections for eachother never went much further then adopted siblings.
Lunar was just becoming an adult, and he began to notice their leader, Tisima, wasn't happy being the Flock Leader. He was glad she had adopted him when his egg found it's way to the nest, and he was feeling rather useless in other aspects of contributing to the lair, so he decided he would learn how to lead, and take over the job from Tisima so she could enjoy herself.
Before he could ask however, Two new Dragons found their way to the nest, each unused to the Tangled Wood and needing help. They were a large Guardian Male named Centauri, and a tiny Spiral female named Cerciae. Lunar was forced to wait for his chance to learn, while Tisima and JackPumpkin got the two new dragons settled in.
The Flock was always welcoming new members, however temporary they were. Lunar liked that about his adopted flock. They would welcome anyone in need, give them time to recover, and let them leave when they were ready. Their flock was hardly frightening, being made up of only 3 guardians (Tisima, Himself, and Pandora), and a whole mess of Fae (JackPumpkin, The Bone Children and their children, Crow, Myntu and Prometheus), and only a few sparce other breeds, nothing very large or powerful. So when the Guardian Male, Centauri, arrived at the Flock's Nest, Lunar was actually pretty excited, a male Guardian he could learn from!
Unfortunately, Centauri showed no interest in being friends or teaching Lunar anything, spending all his days with the other new Dragon, the Spiral female named Cerciae. Lunar couldn't understand why, but once the pair had settled in, he got used to the idea that Centauri wasn't interested in other Guardians hanging around. Time passed, Tisima was busy as ever, but soon news came through the Nest that Centauri and Cerciae were having a nest. the whole Flock was happy for them, and Lunar was over the moon with joy when he heard the flock's newest pair were having a nest of five.
Five potential new Guardians to play with! Lunar had grown up so far having to be so very careful with his Fae family members, it would be exciting to actually rough-house with another Guardian, though since he was a bit older he'd still have to be careful, but still! Another Guardian!
Time passed and the Eggs Hatched, all 5 ended up being Guardians. They were named Kash, Hatarin, Shaderun, Belladonna, and Casta. 3 Males, 2 Females.
A bit after the eggs had hatched, Lunar finally found the time to talk to Tisima about learning how to lead the nest. Tisima agreed, and his training began.

Lunar's training was almost done now, Tisima had noticed the lair was getting too small for everyone, so she'd left Lunar in charge while she went out to find a new nest sight that could fit everyone more comfortably. Isabella as usual remained with Lunar, riding on his head and clinging to his horns.
Once Tisima had winged herself beyond sight, Lunar began his rounds, checking in with the various members of the flock, Crow was looking to be a leader as well, but he was more interested in factions, not a whole flock. The Bone Children were all doing well, the assorted other members, like Kivas and the orphans, were off playing happily. All that was left was to check on the Guardians Quintuplets and their parents, since the Quintuplets were now large enough to start looking for their own places to live if they so wished. Lunar was also hoping to have a chance to play in the way guardians did.
-----
He found the Quintuplets, and followed where they led, never suspecting that they were leading him into a trap. They had grown up with their parents filling their heads with ideas of control and power, and they wanted that for themselves. Their parents had also told them that Lunar, was the enemy to their goals. They decided, he had to be removed.
They led him far away from the Lair, close to the river's edge, where they attacked him.5 one one fights were hard enough, but their parents were nearby to make sure the plan to remove Lunar did not fail. A powerful energy blast from one of the parents sent Lunar and Isabella both into the river unconscious. The Frost Family believes their plan a success. Legacy of Frost - Lunar's Exile / The Lost Prince
With Tisima gone and her protégé removed, the Frost Family was free to take over. with 6 Large Guardians on their side (the Quints and Centauri himself), they quickly took over, corralling the smaller Fae into a corner where they could be used as a 'bargaining chip' when Tisima returned.
Lunar was not dead, however. The currents did however take him far from his home and everyone he knew. He was also seperated from Isabella, his Ichor Nymph. Her safe return would have to be his first priority now that he was on his own.
