haha that's what I meant! Since the feathers covers the structure and everything I was at a loss haha.
And... oh boy, I totally drew it the other way around, with the shorter feathers at the end. No wonder it looks funny >.<

I do have some advice on linework however; I took the liberty of making an example of what I would give for advice.

(i draw too and find poison quit fun to draw actually, facet maybe hard to do but you can always just do a head-shot. of course you can always draw a different derg in my lair if you'd like)

Not a dragon. But I recently learnt how to use illustrator and made logos for my hatchery. It's my first time making this sort of thinking and general advice for illustrator from those with experience would be helpful.
