Slowly, other Skydancers slipped into the room. They all remained silent as they sat against the walls, watching her scratch rune symbols into the ground with a talon. Her mate, a similarly colored Skydancer, appeared silently beside her. "Bring me the new one." Her voice was stern, sharp.. Rylen bowed his head, turning back. He dragged over a smaller Skydancer. The male was a deep stormy color, his body botched with a variety of other colors. He scrambled to his feet, bowing his head. Cierzo rose, slamming her talons down and pinning his head to the floor. "You hail from the Southern Icefield.." She chuckled as the male struggled under her iron grip. His right wing darted up, clocking her chin. It was like the air had been sucked out of the place when her mask and bamboo hat fell to the ground. Cierzo released the struggling male, sweeping over to pick up her lost apparel. "I think he will do just fine. Rylen.. You know what to do." She said as she put the mask and hat back on. The Skydancers in the room swept into elegant bows as Rylen hauled the other dragon from the room. Cierzo scanned the others faces, smirking under her mask. "My sweet, loyal acolytes.. You are excused.. Speak no words of our meeting to anyone.." She watched as they rose and exited, one by one, each bowing to her again before slipping out of the cold room. -- __ A deep red Imperial sat under a tree, stretched out across the grass and snoozing. "I wanted to stay out of the way of battle training." He nodded over in the direction of two Imperials locked in battle, switching back and fourth between aerial and ground bound battle. One of them was the shadowy herbalist, Shadowmere. The other was a mute arcane master, Pauven. Earth and other debris went flying each time they met ground, the soft dirt buckling under the force of the enraged dragons. Watching the two closely was the leader of Sanctuary, an old Guardian named Attor. "How much do you want to bet Attor steps in and puts them both down?" The Wildclaw glanced back at the fur shrouded Imperial. He'd closed his eye, letting out a lazy sigh. "He'll split them up if things get too serious and one of them gets seriously hurt." He yawned, opening his eyes and jumping when the Wildclaw appeared inches from his nose. She smiled, tilting her head a bit. "Want to go hunting?" She chirped. "I'll let you take what animals you haven't caught yet to add them to that fur cloak of yours." She offered. Xion rose, snorting and nuzzling her. "How could I reject such an offer from my friend? Of course, Paragon. I will join you.. It's better than sitting under a tree all day doing nothing." He snorted in amusement. "They never talk.. They only seem to like Druzy. Other than that, they ignore everyone else. Its funny.. Julianos seems to be the only one not like them." Paragon glanced back. Xion seemed to shrug, keeping his head low while he tracked scents. "Julianos was here before all of them, last I checked. Maybe he didn't think it was necessary to get in cahoots with them. He likes things as they are. As far as I know, Cierzo and her little coven want things to change." The Imperial's gaze met Paragon's for a brief moment before he glanced away. "Do you like how the clan runs? Do you like the name? Sanctuary?" She asked as she continued wandering ahead. "I can't say I really mind. I don't belong to any clan.. I linger here because I like this place." Xion lifted his head, bounding ahead to walk alongside her. He wouldn't admit that the main reason he stuck around was because of her. "I've always thought of adventuring a bit.. Going back to my birthplace.. I used to live near the Hewn City." She looked up at him. "If I follow back my family tree, I hail from an ancient clan around the Beacon of the Radiant Eye." He swung out a wing dramatically. It caught a breeze, pulling him backward. He folded it back snugly against his side, chuckling and shuffling back up to trot beside her. The Wildclaw laughed, bumping him. "Dork. How come you aren't like this around anyone else? You're always just a quiet tough guy back home." Paragon chirped. "That's just how I am. Quiet tough guy type.. I can't change it now." The Imperial chuckled faintly. "Tell no one I'm actually like this." He looked at her, his tone turning serious. "Got it. Come on.. I think we've caught plenty. Let's bring it all back to Attor and have him tell us who to give it to." Paragon took off. Xion watched her take off, admiring her shimmering gold scales before he launched after her. ..
