I said back with a grin on my face. In a more serious tone (as serious tone as a fae can make), "you're worried for them aren't you?" "Well, not exactly. Sparrow and Nakkita came to me the other day and asked me to teach them to fight," I said taking off my helmet to look Callie in the eyes, "I'm afraid, Cal, I don't want them to get hurt, but I also want them to be happy." She then says to me staring me right in the eyes, "Look it's best to live to regret doing something than to regret not doing anything at all. Also Kurin and I will be there for you a and them, so don't worry to much about it." I thought excitedly to myself as I bounded after Lady Winter as she exited through the vine covered cave entrance which Nak and I had entered through 6 years ago has hatchlings. Then suddenly with out warning Lady Winter stopped, and I ran into her. [i]"Now," [/i]She turned around to look at us,[i] "this is your last chance, Fight or Flight?" "Fight."[/I] I heard from behind me. Nak, this was the fastest that he's ever replied to this question, and the first time before me. [i]"Fight!"[/i] I finally replied, after getting over the shock of him speaking first. [I]"Now well, then,"[/I] Lady Winter then started walking after her Compass, [I]"Stay close, and Don't wander off on your own." [center]~~~~~[/center] We have finally arrived at the Clearing where our camp will be till our training is over. On the way here Ma' Lady taught us some basic combat skills. So far from what I can see from the clearing is that; it doesn't shift like the rest of the forest, it's so plain and barren (except for as single large pine in the center) you wouldn't believe it if somederg had told you a clan had used to live here, and it's absolutely [I]covered[/I] in gravel every where and there are brambles on one side of the clearing. So far not impressed. [I]"First job for you younglings is to make your dens,"[/I] Lady Winter said, [I]"I will help you gather materials but building your dens is solely up to you."[/I] [center]~~~~~[/center] [I]**I really need to get used to typing stories again, hopefully they'll start getting longer and make more sense.**[/I]

"Well, we didn't take in to account about the fact that a gang of monsters would decided to show up, actually the possibility of a gang showing up was almost out of the question!" called Lady Callie from in front of me. [I]I believe the point of taking on an apprentice is training them not killing them. Damn, why did those monsters have to show up?[/I] I thought angrily gritting my teeth. [I]If only one of them hadn't attacked from behind, then Sparrow wouldn't have been as badly hurt[/I]. That's when I had decided that I would work much harder to become stronger for her, even if it killed me. [center]~~~~~[/center] [I]What is that smell? Why is it so familiar? Is it Nak? Nah...he smells slightly sweet, this is sour.[/I] I try to roll over but something is laying on my side, then I twist my head to see what's on me, with a tinge of panic in my voice, "What's going on? I can't see! Nak! Where are you?!" "Sparrow, will you shut up for once in your life while I--" He grumbled lifting his head from my side, "Sparrow, you're awake!" he excitedly said as he was wrapping his body around mine. "Nak, where are we? And why can't I see?" I asked as my voice trembled. "Well.... we are back at camp in the part of the tree that Lady Callie claimed, " He explained, "and as to why you can't see, don't you remember?" Thinking back really hard the last thing I remember was fighting a Cockatrice anything after tha is blank, "No, the last thing I remember is fighting a Cockatrice.." With the sound concern in his voice he began, "While you were fighting the Cockatrice a Phytocat attacked you from behind and scratched your eyes and seriously injured you...I'm sorry, Sparrow...." "Why is that?" I asked confused, "you haven't done anything apology worthy." "Yes, I have. I couldn't protect you." then a water drop hit a scale on my talon. "Nak, it's not your fault I was the one who needed to pay more attention. And besides I'll be up and about very soon and I'll be so fidgety with all the rest I'll end up getting, you'll need to sleep two weeks before you can walk again." Nak has become more protective of me, and rarely leaves my side and Nak is acting hostile towards M' Lady now as well. M' Lady has been training me and Nak, since I could figure out my balance again.
