He says this all without Xarles or her mate knowing, although Hawk has gotten in a bit of trouble when his half-sister found out. His companion Kamaitchi heals those he trains, as Vayks can not be hurt himself unless it is by water. Due to his weakness to water, when rainstorms come through he often gets depressed and lonely, locking himself up indoors until the rain passes.
